Sensational Roofing & Repairs

We had a leak in the dormer of our roof and I was having a difficult time finding someone to come out and do the repair. I left a message for Ronald and he promptly returned my call. It was a rainy day but to my surprise, he still came out that same afternoon, and even got up on the roof to take a look. There was no apparent damage so Ronald suggested re-caulking all areas on the roof. He quoted a fair price and came back to do the work within a short time frame, keeping me up to date when there was a delay due to rain. Ronald was professional, couteous and knowledgeable, and I would not hesitate to recommend him or call him for any future repairs.

Our home inspector suggested that we have our roof inspected during the purchase of our home. We called Ronald to come take a look at the roof and provide any recommendations. After looking at both the attic and climbing on top of the roof he recommended we replace our skylight, some decking and flashing around a vent. The skylight and vent were not installed correctly and were leaking. Ronald arrived on time and was very courteous speaking to my wife. The price quoted was reasonable and you could tell Ronald was honest and trustworthy.

On the day the work was scheduled, Ronald and his team arrived on time, worked efficiently to fix our roof and cleaned up after himself. We couldn't be more pleased with the work that was done and would highly recommend Sensational Roofing.

Ronald was the only one who responded to me even though I had emailed three different companies via home stars. No job is too small for him. He was informative and very helpful. He took the time to explain how I lost only one shingle and the job was completed on the spot.

HONEST: Right before he even looked at our roof, he was honest to tell me right away that it is not uncommon that a clogged gutter might be just caused by kid's small toys such as tennis balls which turned out to be true in my case. He continued to inspect our gutter and eventually found and took a photo to show me the damage done to the corner of our gutter by squirrels.

EFFICIENT: Ronald cleaned our gutter thoroughly, hosing away with water the accumulated debris from our gutter--so immediately we knew that his work was effective. He fixed the corner of our gutter efficiently that it was done in no time. Even showing me the thin aluminum sheet ( I forgot how it is called) that he will use. He also replaced our rain downspout and also re-used some parts of our old one that save us money.

We are happy with his fast, honest and efficient service. From now on, Ronald will be our Roof Guy. Highly recommended.

The flashing of our 3-storey townhome was torn by strong winds and was hanging dangerously above the driveway. Something needed to be done quickly before large pieces could fall causing damages to the cars parked below, or worse, injuring passers-by. I called a few roofing companies but they didn’t seem to understand the urgency of the situation. Then I contacted Sensational Roofing. Ronald was at work a few hours later to cut away the torn section and eliminated the danger. The flashing had to be custom made and after couple of days Ronald returned to complete the job. I’ve also added a last minute request to put more brackets to our downpipe and Ronald was please to help. Very professional and helpful. Highly recommended and I will use Sensational Roofing services again.

My roof leaked so badly during a recent rain storm that the water started to come through the kitchen ceiling.

Living in an old house with a history of various repair and patch jobs means something else always pops up needing a repair. We had a few places on each side of the house where water flowed over during heavy rains. Got Sensational's name (and a few other places) from Homestars reviews. Ronald checked the eaves directy (ladder), decsribed a reaonable approach & quoted. Price was fine but more impt was his thoroughness and professionalism, and the work was well done.
