Bathroom Shower Faucet Leaking
Placed a call. Claimed they were coming that day but did not come until 26 hours later. Robert showed up and said that I needed a new faucet. He wrote out a work order and quoted a price. I said it was high and he yelled, "Do you want it done or not?" I sheepishly said yes as I did not want to wait any further. He made me sign all the papers including one that said the job was finished to my satisfaction. I balked at that and he repeated "Do you want it done or not?" I signed and he took my credit card for payment.
He was there for an hour ripped out two tiles and a bit if drywall. He then went to his van and got a replacement faucet in plain brown box. He replaced the shower and placed all the remaining bits in the box, as I then had to hire someone else to replace the drywall, tiles finish installing the taps. His invoice emailed later described: Supply faucet $201.00, Copper fittings $30.00, Part pick-up (from his van parked in front of my house) $70.00 and 2.5 hours labour (my tenant said he was only there for 2) $451.26. Robert was rude and intimidating and I would never recommend his services to anyone.

I would like to start off by mentioning that Rooter-Man highly respects people's busy schedule and do or best to arrive within the window promised. As most can understand situations beyond our control arise and at rare times a delay can happen. Our records indicate that a phone call was placed to inform you that we needed to reschedule and it was mutually agreed upon that we would arrive the next day instead. With respect to Roberts timing, Rooter-Man tracks all service vehicles by GPS which allows us to monitor when our plumbers have arrived to your location. Tracking shows Robert arrived to your location at 12:55 and was complete at 3:35. Timing marked on the invoice would be accurate. With respect to signing documents our policy is to fully inform our clients of pricing upfront with a signature required of acknowledgment and approval to proceed with the service. Without a signature service can not be performed. It is unfortunate that your experience was not a pleasant one however we do thank you for your business.
