We have worked with Devonte twice. Both times his service was outstanding. Skilled, hard-working, efficient, conscientious and personable. When I called for our second move, he was on vacation and, as I had waited until the last minute, I booked with another company. However, Devonte returned from vacation in time so we decided to forfeit our deposit with the other company just so that we could work with him again.

Devonte went above and beyond for moving furniture from a condo to a home. He was punctual, well organized, careful and efficient. He protected the furniture well and went the extra mile. Highly recommended and will use his company for all future moving needs.

I was referred to Around Town Moving by my cousin who used them in late 2012. I read the reviews on this site and liked what I saw. I saw the 9.9 rating and hoped they would live up to that expectation. If I could give higher than 10, I would. They were THAT good. Very professional, ON TIME, and careful with my belongings. Devonte and his sidekick Jose, we absolutely amazing. Being a small business owner, it still excites me to see people that work for a company take such pride, responsibility, and professionalism towards their work. I'm a picky jerk, and these guy exceeded my expectations, which sadly rarely happens these days. Are you sick and tired of bad or (the new good) average service, try these guys out. I had a complex move which was in two stages. First out of my condo in Mississauga into storage. Then a week later from storage into my new condo in Vaughan. I found Around Town's service excellent. They were courteous, on time, (actually 15 minutes early both days) and well organized. Devonte was very good at fitting my items into storage considering the space allowed and very good at what he does. I would highly recommend them for your moving requirements.

My move was incredibly difficult as I have a number of large/heavy pieces of furniture that needed to be moved up a fire escape with a number of awkward twists and turns. Levante and his team were somehow able to complete this move in the shortest amount of time imaginable. And, they also dropped off for me a ladder that I had rented at a local lumber yard! I've used them twice, and I'll definitely do so again!

Just finished up a move with Devonte and his coworker. I have nothing but positive things to say about them. After experiencing a nightmarish move (avoid Husky Movers at all costs!!!) a month prior, during which furniture was damaged and picture frames were broken, this move from my condo to my new house was almost too easy. They were punctual, courteous, quick and they took great care to ensure that the furniture was wrapped and arrived undamaged. The price was very reasonable as well. I would certainly recommend these guys to anyone looking to move. Thanks, guys!

I had a last minute move from a one bedroom to a bachelors. Not only did I need to find movers the day before I needed storage as I couldn't move in till the 1st and had to be out on the last day.

I phoned several companies and got quotes for around 900-1200 for the services I needed. So it was no surprise I was glad I got the call back from Devonte. He came, gave me a quote and even drove me to my bank and back for the deposit as I had no cash on me.

Basically...they work fast, they work hard, they're pleasant, budget friendly, they're careful, and well worth whatever quote you're given.

I am completely satisfied with the service of the Around Town company. The reasons: punctual to arrive, kind and professional attitude, assistance to load/download my stuff, patient and fair price. The driver was also very carefully that even some eggs I took arrived without being broken.

I recently had to move back to my parents and needed a moving company that was cost efficient. I found Around Town from HomeStars and gave them a try. Tom and Earl, the movers, were very friendly (unlike some movers) and was really careful with the fragile boxes. I would use them again.
