Prior to hiring Around Town Moving , we were skeptical that no negative reviews existed at all. We now understand why and were not surprised at all the excellent reviews on this site. The guys arrived 30 minutes early and got right to work. We thought they would be discouraged once they saw how much stuff needed to be moved and we expected the move to take 2 days, however just the opposite occurred. Divonte and his crew got right on it without wasting a second. They ensured all delicate items were carefully wrapped, taped and transported with care. They didn't leave until everything was moved that day. They are truly dedicated to their work and provided an excellent service. Thanks again guys!

This was my first experience of hiring movers and Divonte and his crew made it a great experience. We made it to our new place in no time with all of our stuff intact. They even finished the job in minimum time we had agreed on.

I booked Around Town Movers based on the reviews at this website and others. Devonte is a super hero! His team was really pleasant guys, terribly hard working. Oh and did I mention they were a half hour early! They worked consistently, none of my items were broken, they wrapped all my furniture before putting it on the truck and they reassembled my bed and dinning room table before they left. They did the best job they could, all things considered. I had a lot of boxes, but no appliances. Neither location had a ramp or a moving room and while there were no stairs inside, it was first floor to first floor, there were steps outside at both buildings. My move went over budget, for those planning a move I would recommend giving explicit detail to Devonte so he knows exactly what to expect. I would book them again.

I never write review in my entire life because I use good company especially for moving. I made booking around the town mover and we have some issue not to move and I inform to this company we have some issue and we will not move in this month. The guy I think he is owner and always there is noise on the phone it seem like to me this home base company. Well there is no contract and they don't advice before in case of cancellation. The owner is very rude and I couldn't able to find there web site. I recommend be aware for this mover because there is no term and condition when make reservation over the phone.

I hired Devonte of Around Town Moving and Delivery based on the reviews on Homestars. I was not disappointed. Devonte and his team of Alex and Jose were very professional and did the move very efficiently. The whole move seemed to be choreographed! They knew exactly which pieces to take out first and everything went into the truck in a certain way to maximize every inch of space - it was impressive! I would definitley recommend this moving crew - they came on time, finished the job efficiently, and were very nice too. They are also very reasonably priced which is real bonus.

Devonte and his team were on time and very experienced. They wrapped all the furniture and moved everything with ease. We didn't have to lift a finger. There were some unexpected hiccups from the condo management but Devonte handled everything very professionally. We would be happy to use them again. Thanks.

The team of 3 arrived a little early, which I liked. It was raining that day and they were very careful to wrap everything. The move into the house was pretty quick. I could tell they were trying to be as efficient as possible. Thanks to Devonte and his team.

I hired Around Town for my move from Hamilton to Toronto 2 weeks ago after reading the reviews on this site. Devonte and his colleague arrived 30 minutes early, started to work right away. They did not even ask for a deposit before starting, which other companies often do.
At both pickup and drop off sites, they handled everything, even talking to the concierge and getting the elevator before I even showed up! What a relief that they took so much initiative.
I appreciated that they seemed mindful that our agreement was hourly and it was obvious that they were doing their best to minimize the time - they did the move in less time than I expected.
And when they say "no hidden fees" they mean it. The cost was exactly what we discussed, they never asked for a deposit, the loaded and unloaded and Devonte brought me the bill after everything was said and done. And their rate was among the best I had been quoted.
They were professional, hardworking, and VERY fast all the way through. I have already recommended them to my parents for their move and will be using them again when I move in a few months. I will be much more relaxed during my next move knowing that they've got things handled and that they will be mindful of the expense for me.

I used Around Town Moving and Delivery for the first time this past weekend. Devonte and his crew were polite and courteous. Devonte was professional and definitely knew what he was doing. All my furniture was wrapped up nicely. I have a heavy and cumbersome dining room table which needed to be dismantled. Devonte had no problem taking it apart and putting it back together. Each piece of the table was wrapped! There was attention to detail. A really great crew. Even my friends and family who were helping me unpack thought the guys were fantastic! I would definitely recommend them to friends and family.

Devonte and his team are the best movers around! They helped me move for the second time on Friday, and both times they were punctual (early actually), courteous, and efficient.
