When a drywaller boarded over the lightbox in the ceiling of our kitchen we called Neil. He was able to fit us in the next morning, and found where it was with a minimum of fuss, meanwhile giving us other valuable advice on wiring light fixtures, lighting companies, and under cabinet lighting. He gave us a rundown on everything he was doing and why he was doing it as he worked. Great work and customer service.

Neil did a great job hanging pendant lights in our kitchen. 3rd time we have hired him, all have been good experiences. We are planning to hire him back next month.

The entire process was very smooth and straight forward. I'm so glad I came across Neil at Nu-Phase electric.
He was on time, very meticulous, and went out of his way to try and minimize drywall holes required to fish wires through existing walls.
I wasn't even sure running wires from the bathroom to the electrical panel would be possible given my condo configuration but Neil made it happen!

Neil fixed the kitchen lights and replaced the ceiling fan in a bathroom. He gave good advice as to which fan to buy and where to buy it so that I got the right one and at a reasonable price. He gave good advice where to buy LED pot lights, too. Neil is very efficient and neat. He is punctual. We appreciate his good work and would recommend him to friends. We would contact him again for another job.

I'm extremely happy with work what Neil did from Nu Phase Electric. He spent 2 days rewiring and adding outlets through out my place.
He was very efficient and did clean work. He had to cut away almost 15 feet of drywall on 3 floors and never left a mess.
My contractors who came in a few days later to patch and paint said they were very impressed with Neil's work which he had done.

I was having difficulty finding someone to install a big-ass fans ceiling fan into my condo downtown which has 16ft ceilings.
Got Neil's contact information, gave him a call and set up a time and day to give it a shot when no one else would help me out (without charging an arm and a leg)
He showed up at the time we had arranged, was very personable and warm on meeting him and couldn't have been more delighted with his can do attitude, professionalism and workmanship in regards to the work he did of installing the ceiling fan and a few other things that i asked while he was there
I was also having an issue with a light fixture that was having problems where it would work some days then not work for other days, he took a quick look and within a few minutes he figured out the problem and fixed that up for me too

Installation took less than a 40min. Nu-phase made sure the devices we had were up to code in case of complete power and internet shutdown . Also Neil had new info of our existing home structure having the ability to be more energy efficient which is always good to know.

We also hired Nu-phase to install a heater in our child's bedroom last year. Very happy with that install and that room heats up more efficiently compared to our other rooms around the house.

Its hard to find good tradesmen, I dont write these often, unless they are earned.
So here goes..
Neil is very professional, prompt, has good insight to the task, able to identify potential pitfalls, and keeps you well informed on any updates, progress during the job. His rates are fair, skillful and his work is timely.
I had him install a sub-panel for my new HVAC, then called him back a year later for further work, after I blew a fuse on the old panel and knocked out power to my garage. Both times, he responded quickly, the last time he came the next the next morning despite the distance and it being a Sunday. Would recommend, and I will use him again for future work, if needed.

Neil is the principal of Nu-Phase and an experienced technician who is trustworthy and honest. He upgraded my 60amp service to 200amps without any issues and smoothly coordinated everything with BC Hydro. Very personable guy and very responsive to messages/calls. Definitely recommend him for your home's electrical needs and upgrades.
