Access Storage

After being a customer of Access Storage for over 20 years with multiple units, I was given 1 month to vacate due to the closing of the facility. There was no compensation offered but it was suggested I could move to a storage facility 10 miles further away at the same price. I ended up moving to a better, cleaner (and inside storage as well) facility equal distant to the old facility for less than 1/2 price.
To add insult to injury Access Storage charged me an extra month after moving out and after repeated visits to the office and repeated calls to the regional manager, it took three weeks to get my money back again with no compensation.
I will never deal with these folks again.

I want to reach out to you. Without a long story. My mother and father got a unit 3 years ago. Been paid. My father is now gone and my mother has been waiting for a settlement. The staff had told her she could get a "deal over" christmas. ]
THis was $100 and the 2100 cut. Seemed it was not true. She was not able to meet the date of the 25th as there was a storm. They said then that the 18th would be the latest. I paid to arrange a truck and movers as I am in another country. When she went to the unit. They said they wanted $4500. This made no sense. After emailing today. They said the bill was $2100. I am wondering if money is being taken wrongly.
I am also very stressed as 90% of the items are Personal. Photos ext.
Something fishy is going on at this office on anne st. The unit is under Witherell.
Is there anything we can do to repair this? Even if she has a day to collect.

Renters Beware

I would give Access Storage a minus 100 if I could. I had all my belongings stored there, while my house was being built and lost half of it due to mice infestation. I had to hire a restorator to clean what was salvageable. The storage company claims they are not responsible and received no compensation whatsoever. When you first sign up, they make you pay a mandatory content insurance (up to $5,000 coverage) which they tell you covers everything. When I made a claim for the $5,000, I was told the insurance didn’t cover anything…according to a policy which they do not provide copies of, either when you first sign up or when you make a claim. Very dishonest. I should have stored my belongings with Dymon.

First they'll make you pay 25 dollars plus tax for nothing and then for any small changes, they'll keep charging you 25 again.

All I've asked is to move a date

I used this company for 1 year and went to pick up my stuff when we were moving into our new home EVERYTHING was covered in mold and mice. I was told I have insurance through them but mice and mold is not covered. Worst possible place to do business or leave your valuables. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Stay far away, you’re better off leaving your stuff outside. They won’t take responsibility for there out dated units with holes in the roof or insulation falling out of the wall. It’s disgusting. Also your units front door is covered in weeds they don’t weed whack them or pull them out it looks horrible. I would never use the access storage in Woodstock ont. or reccomend them.

Garbage place to look at and use.

I have used Access Storage throughout Ontario. I have been a pharmaceutical rep for 15 years and the service I get has been fantastic. Site is always clean, staff are helpful and assist me when needed and the price is for what you get is certainly of real value. I would recommend them to anyone.
