I have purchased all the windows and doors, exterior and interior, including the hardware from SHI. Some of them required custom sizes, and everything was done accordingly to my drawings and delivered in time. The price was very competitive, better than all the other quotes. Jim is a very pleasant, easy to talk to person, returned my calls every time. I will come back anytime in future with other orders and I have recommended him to friends.

For my window retrofitting project I needed to order windows with specific depth. After detailed explanation what I needed Jim confirmed with supplier this can met with specific window model. After 3 weeks I got windows and the depth was wrong. Ordered windows couldn't fit existing opening I was planning for.

Update: I got a call from Jim and we agreed that he would work with AllWeatherWindows to find proper resolution to my situation as it was direct fault of their sales reps. End customers shouldn't be hold accountable for misrepresentation of a product by supplier. I am glad we found common grounds with Jim. He is very nice guys and care about his customers and reputation. We were able to complete the project with a workaround that was covered by the supplier - thank you for Jim to arrange this.

It is important to know that things go wrong but the place you always want to deal with each time is the one that haven't let you down with the situation I was in.

I just purchased a brand new home from the builder, I liked the steeple-hinges and upgraded door knobs but they wanted approximately $10,000 to change them all??? WOW! After speaking with Jim, he researched, did a lot of leg-work and provided me with a comparable alternative for $1500. WHAT A DIFFERENCE!! they look amazing and feel sturdy. They are not ONLY door specialists, Jim has helped me with home improvements ranging from crown moulding & chair rails to Phantom screens. HE IS JUST AWESOME!!! My recommendation for any home-owners before upgrading with the builder, check out Speers Home; you will save a tonne of money!

I had called around to several companies to get pricing. I was then recommended Speers Home Improvement by another contractor that uses their services. I found their service excellent and Jim was great to deal with. He was able to give us a approximate quote over the phone. I would definitely recommended Speers Home Improvement for replacing a front door because we are extremely happy with our new front door and side lights.

Jim and his crew were great and exceeded my expectataions. Jim was always very easy to get ahold of and answered all of my questions quickly. His install crew was great, very nice, kept the whole process very clean and the attention to detail was great. My new front door is beautiful inside and out and and I am very pleased with my overall experience. Great value and I would very much recomend this company to others.

Jim and his staff are very professional and are very pleasant to due business with. We had a design idea and Jim made our door custom to what we wanted. ex. full side lights with the same inset as the door. They stand by there work and they also make sure you are fully satisfied with the final product with many follow up calls. This is the second time I have purchased a product from Jim and Speers Home Improvements, and would recommend them to anyone.

What else could you possibly ask for. Jim and the boys understand customer service and are backed by a great product. I never felt like I was bother when asking my questions and they were great at keeping me in the loop along the way. The installation went well and the work looks fantastic. I shopped hard and no one is close. Don't hesitate on these guys, just call them.
