I purchased a home from Luvian in 2012. In the contract of sale, they required a security deposit for the street in the event of damage during tasks such as moving in, etc. I was told we would have the deposit refunded once the town has assumed the street.
I spoke with the Town of Ajax recently and was advised that the by-law has passed and the city assumed the street in May 2021.
I have been trying to connect with Luvian, but the phone number goes straight to VM every time I call.
Good luck trying to collect the security deposit!
