Reborn Renovations

I hired Reborn to install new flooring, update two countertops and change out some plumbing fixtures on my condo downtown. They charged me a fair price, did the job to a high quality and finished it about when they said they would.

On top of getting the kitchen renovated we also did a ton of other cosmetic things to the inside of the house as well. A short rundown of the things we did were: lacquer the kitchen cabinets, new countertops, new taps, new island, new carpet on stairs, paint all wall (3 levels), a few custom built-ins, and lacquer all interior doors and trim. From day one the team at Reborn was professional, easy to reach and communicate with, and showed up and got the job done when they said they would. I would highly recommend them to anyone thinking of doing a renovation.

I bought a new place and had exactly a month to do some pretty major renovations. I wasn’t sure if I should act as the general contractor and just hire all the trades or go with a company like Reborn to do it all.
So I phoned around. And I phoned around more. And I got quotes. And here’s where I save you a ton of time AND MONEY: just start and end with Reborn.

The project was beyond exceptionally managed. My project manager, Chris, made everything go smoothly, even when we were brainstorming solutions to issues together. Chris treated my new home like his house and is an amazingly tallented guy that all the trades seem to love and really go the extra mile for. And that’s a key point, as he’s the one that makes it all work. The trades were all equally great guys and all rolled with it when I asked for odd things like grey wood floors and strange light fixtures.
Not only did they wrap up UNDER budget and EARLY, but it was such fun to work with them I was a bit sad it was over.
Oh, and the cool thing was that we worked together to source things because of my tight schedule. I had it all designed in my head but their designer took all that down and communicated it well to the trades.
Oh, and they use a cool app to track everything from change orders to payments etc.
Trust me, just use Reborn, you won’t regret it.

We are very pleased with our kitchen, mud room, and basement bar renovation completed last spring by Reborn. From start to finish the Reborn team was attentive and available to discuss timelines, expectations, changes, and concerns.
Many individuals worked with us to make the process tolerable as we lived in the transformed space. Bob worked with me to outline the vision and complete the quote. Don was tasked with keeping everything on schedule which was a challenge. Danielle was essential in envisioning the potential of the new space, providing design recommendations, and pulling it together so it worked in our home. The cabinet maker, Pat is extraordinary. He is extremely talented and detail orientated. His cabinet design and layout is exceptional.
As with any renovation we encountered challenges along the way however the Reborn team provided excellent craftsmanship, were attentive to concerns throughout the process, and created a beautiful space we love. I would recommend Reborn for your renovation transformation.

We built our home in 2002, so it was in much need of an update. We refaced the kitchen and main bathroom, and reconfigured our ensuite. In the ensuite, we removed the soaker tub and stand up shower and replaced with custom shelving and a walk-in shower.

Reborn was very easy to work with. At the very start of the project we met with our Project Manager to review the scope of work and the cost. Any questions or concerns that we had were quickly addressed. We were able to see the timeline and costs through their online tool which was extremely helpful.

We are more than pleased with the final results! Our home is updated and better suits our personalities and needs. We have had numerous compliments.

The only issue that we had was that one of the tradesman fell behind on his deadline causing the overall timeline to slide a bit. After being out of our home for three months we were anxious to get back in so were a little disappointed that there was a two week delay.

That being said, our new kitchen, bathrooms, and floors, more than made up for the delay.

We worked with Reborn to help us update to our home, to replace flooring in the Kitchen, carpet upstairs and Kitchen cabinets repainted. They did an amazing job as it only took two weeks to complete.
Chris are PM was honest, transparent and helped us with our options.
The whole team from Design, Flooring, Carpeting and Carpenters, painters were great to work with. We did have an issue with the kitchen cabinet paint color but they fixed it the next today so everything stayed on schedule. They use a scheduling software so you can see when the job is going to be completed and what is going to done on each day.

We worked with Reborn to help us with a major update to our home, to replace all flooring throughout the house (LVP), paint all walls & oak trim, paint & install new baseboards, and to help repair some odds & ends throughout the house. They did an amazing job, and we continue to be beyond happy with the results!

From our first introduction to Reborn, Bob (our eventual PM) was honest, transparent, and helpful. This was our first time doing a home renovation of any size, and we were jumping in with both feet... Bob helped us understand our options, encouraged us to do our due diligence when looking at the competition, but ultimately, sold us on the value Reborn adds above and beyond others. Bob's level of customer service, respect for our time & money was appreciated.

Bob helped us plan out a timeline that met our schedules and was able to be flexible and adjust as our jobs through us some twists along the way (unexpected travel). He helped focus on keeping our home liveable while the renovations were underway, ensuring the work progressed in a specific sequence so that we never lost access to important areas for long (if at all).

The flooring guys were fantastic and continued to uphold the same level of service and quality of work Bob had introduced. They were friendly, and passionate about their work.

We did have some challenges with the painters, both in quality of work, and in meeting time commitments, however, Bob was quick to address and resolve any concerns we shared along the way. Every project of this size will have hiccups, and given this was the worst hiccup, I couldn't be happier. ;)

Bob continues to check in periodically on the condition of the work, and we are confident that any concerns we may have down the road (if any), we will be in good hands with Bob and the rest of the reborn team.

We would STRONGLY recommend choosing to work with them on your renovation project, and we look forward to working with them again on future plans for our home.

Reborn Renovations redid our kitchen for us last January / February. After living with the kitchen for 9 months now, we continue to be very pleased with it. Reborn’s work included replacing one bank of cabinets, lacquering all the cabinets in new colours, installing new quartz countertops and sink and doing a new backsplash. The job was executed in an excellent fashion; well-coordinated and well managed. We were kept well informed of the progress, knew when the tradesmen would be at the house and were informed of all developments. We found the trades to be polite and excellent craftsmen. We would highly recommend Reborn to anyone considering a renovation to their home.

We were moving back into our home that we had rented out for years and our tenants had left the place a total mess. We called up ReBorn because of their great reputation, and they really did a great job.
