The general contractor was very nice and professional and helpful. His crew though was good but not great or exceptional. Demolition was performed without proper containment (for example, a gap was left between the plastic sheeting and the ceiling) and so construction dust was much more pervasive than it should have been. This was surprising and annoying. The carpentry and joinery was good enough but not great. Unfortunately, the team had no experience with barn door installation, which however I would not hold against them. And it must be said that we are sufficiently satisfied with the final result. I must also say that the initial plan to install pocket doors had to be abandoned because of wiring issues and the company supplied re-sized doors at no charge, which was very professional and much appreciated.
