A Buyers Choice Home Inspections

I would never recommend Jason for your home inspection and also A BUYERS CHOICE company. It's an absolute waste of money and they would not care to actually do any other than visually review things that anybody could do. They hide under the Inspector liability agreement and I am not sure, why would they even inspect then. They never acknowledged or even mentioned the issue about the furnace bearings and the thermostat valve being broken which costed us a lot. And the inspector performed the house inspection with absolutely no interest and he was not vocal about anything at all. I would not recommend Buyers Choice or Jason for home inspection around that area. Complete waste of money

We used BOCC to do our home inspection and are extremely disappointed. BOCC was recommended by our realtor. Because we were living out-of-province, our realtor is the one who accompanied Marty on the home inspection. Several obvious deficiencies including the structure of the deck, an improperly installed roof that was in terrible condition, and improperly installed siding on the west side of the house) were all major concerns that were completely overlooked in the report provided by Marty. Because these deficits are so obvious to anyone who has estimated or done repairs on our home, the question I always get "is why didn't you have a home inspection before you purchased this house?" We did, but obviously it wasn't a very good one. My other issue is that Marty did not followed up with a phone call after the inspection, as he had previously assured me he would do. I do not recommend BBOC.

I had a home inspection done by Marty. The home has a structural issue that I noticed shortly after moving in. What was deemed "regular settling" was actually foundation problems. I have had several opinions, which all deemed the home to have obvious structural issues. I have never been so disappointed and blind sided. I put trust in my agent to sell me my first home and the home inspector she recommended. I now have to disclose structural issues as I am selling. A buyer should never have to go through this when they put trust in someone to warn them against potential pitfalls. This was not a case of missing something that was latent. All opinions I have received on the structural state of the house have stated that this issue is very obvious.

We purchased a home and were referred to this company from another friend who purchased a home and had it inspected by them. We were very happy with the professionalism shown during the process. They were thorough and provided a good report when completed. Luckily the house was in good overall shape and we ended up buying the home.

they were polite and looked through the home step by step. Being first time home buyers we had lots of questions and they answered all of them. Very happy with them!
