Ralf came highly recommended by a tile shop in Stouffville and he did an excellent job tiling our master bathroom. He gave us a very competitive quote and what convinced us to go with Ralf was his professionalism and business-like manner. He provided a written quote and there were no surprises when the job was completed and final invoice submitted.
It was quite a challenging job as Ralf was working with travertine tiles but the bathroom looks terrific!. He was a very neat and a quick worker -we will certainly contact him again with our upcoming renovations in 2012.

I now have one of the most beautiful cedar decks. Ralph's help in design changed it from ordinary into extraordinary. His workmanship is excellent. He is honest, patient and reliable. Also has a great sense of humour and cleans up all the work mess!

Ralph has also tiled my bathroom and kitchen and is always available for small jobs. Would not hesitate to recommend him for any job..

Ralf did an amazing job on the cedar deck he built for me. He was reliable and professional and I've received many compliments on the deck. He is creative and very talented offering many suggestions.

A complete and beautiful transformation of a bathroom that was completely run down. He helped me choose the best tiles, fixtures and paint, and advised me on each. No detail was overlooked as he replaced the tub with a floor-to-ceiling custom tiled shower, new toilet, vanity, tiled floor and paint.
Apart from his building and finishing skills, he is able to predict how the final coordinated result will look overall, and so his design advice is a rare asset that helped me decide.
On top of the 2 separate star ratings for this review, I would like to give Hubby-4-A-Day five stars for its seamless range of skills, from inception to completion.

Ralph has done extensive work for us both at our office and our home. He is a skilled carpenter but also does plumbing and painting. He takes the time to listen to your ideas and then researches the practicality of these ideas prior to starting the job in order to ensure that there are no unforeseen issues and you fully understand what you will be receiving. He is also very tidy and considerate to others and actually very enjoyable to have around. He has an extremely strong work ethic and a great deal of pride in the work that he produces. Having dealt with a number of different contractors, I have no hesitation at all in recommending him.

Ralf and his crew from Hubby-4-A-Day have done a few projects now for me, at my previous home and at my present home. My husband and I have always been extremely pleased with the expertise and professionalism as the jobs were completed to our satisfaction. Ralf always has new creative ideas and recommendations for products and product lines to use in our home. The results have always been great.
The painting and drywall jobs were done very neatly and in a timely fashion, always appreciate Ralf's humour!!! He's a pleasure to have around the house, and gets the job done. I would recommend Ralf for any renovation project and have used Hubby-4-A-Day at my office in Toronto for our renovation as well. Can't wait to start the Bathroom upstairs !!!!

I hired a workman from Hubby-4-A-Day to paint an upstairs bedroom. I was mainly disappointed with the quality of the workmanship, as well as the price. Quality-wise, the workman did not tape off the trim or ceiling which shocked me, and I ended up with splotches of paint on my ceiling that I had to paint over afterward. He did not cover my furniture either, but I lucked out in not having any damage. And finally, the price I was quoted was significantly less than the price I was eventually charged, even though he had been in to see and measure the room ahead of time. All in all, I was quite disappointed.
