They installed a new AC and Hot Water Tank in my home. The contract said I would get a 400.00 rebate from OPA, I never received it. They also removed the rental HW Tank from my home and was supposed to return it to Enercare. 2 Months later I am still being billed by Enercare for the Rental tank. Enercare says the rental tank has never been returned. After many many request, Home savings has refused to provide me with documentation proving they returned it. I contacted OPA and they say they have never received the application from Home Savings for the rebate on my behalf either. Tamin at Home savings assured me on a number of occassions that he had filed the application. But again, when I asked for proof or documentation, he refused to provide it and got angry that I was asking, and basically told me there is no need for me to have the documentation. All my text messages, and phone calls to both Frank, the sales rep, and Tamin at Home Savings have been ignored. I have contacted Home Depot Installations services as they are the ones who subcontracted the work to this company. Home Depot Installation services says they too have not been able to get a hold of anyone at Home Savings. My only recourse now is to file suit in small claims court for breach of contract, which I am in the process of doing. I would strongly advise not to do business with this company. The talk and promises were big but not backed up by action. Lots of failed promises,, and breach of contract, all proving to me personally that this is not a reputable company to deal with.
