Stoneworkss Canada did a fabulous job in building our interlocking patio in the backyard, sidewalks around the house, front and backyard stairs and front porch. Joseph, Stan and their crew completed the job exactly as we had pictured including selection of the right materials and design and pattern of stone layout. Stan is a skilled technician and works with a lot of patience to meet your requirements. They did an amazing job and within the budget agreed upon.

i was very happy with this company the project came out amazing great team and very professional! if I have any more work inside or outside my house stoneworks is gone be the first company that I will call good price good people.

We hired Stoneworks Canada in March 2013 to re-lay our Pool deck and pathway stone; also to rebuid our retaining wall and to build a new cedar Deck. Joseph is the owner. He made all kinds of promises - said he could do anything we asked him to do and his price was reasonable. He said, weather permitting it could all be done in 2 weeks - professionally - as he has a team of 20 masters in the trades who could work simultaneously on all projects. 2 months later, no job was completed. His workers caused more damage than repair - they turned on our water during the frost (he was instructed not to) and burst all the pipes! My cabana had to be rebuilt! Bottom line - none of his trades are capable. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!! All their work was shoddy - my pool deck coping now has no expansion joint so there's no room between the deck and the pool. I had them take apart the cedar deck - i paid an additional $7,000 on add'l cedar and labour to rebuild my deck by someone else. - i will have to have the whole pool area re-done next spring. I hope i can save at least one person from being taken for a ride by this man, Joseph. Their website is deceiving.
Nov 22/13 In response to you Joseph, Homestars is a reputable review system - they have taken down all of your fabricated reviews in their validation process with the exception of your friends who had fake invoices. Further - my review was written well before you applied for Small Claims Court. So I warn the homeowners: Stoneworks Canada will take your money BEFORE they start any work. And if you're not satisfied they take you to small claims court. More time and money wasted. I do have all supporting documents to support my review above and will report back here after December 30th, 2013 regarding the outcome of court. As of today's date, May 22, 2014 - the legal process is ongoing...

Please, please stay away from this company. Price was reasonable $10000 to them and a further $5000 to a subcontractor who did the Asphalt, but that was all, our driveway has to be completely redone....... it's a mess!! the other work was either substandard or not finished too. Not reliable, didn't turn up for weeks on end, haven't return emails or phone calls, asked for extra installments of money (in breech of written contract). No concept of customer care, They have done more or less exactly the same to us as in other peoples reviews in the past, nothing has changed.Stay away from this company, you may as well just throw away money.

*UPDATE*
On Saturday the 20th of July following this review and reporting the problem to The B.B.B. the men from Stoneworkscanada returned to put right the problems with the driveway and correct the other problems previously stated. They worked very well from 8.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. and made a very good job of redoing the block paving of the patio in the back yard. I only wish that they had done this in the first place since they are more than capable of doing very good work and it would have saved all of this extra stress and hassle for us. The gate was also fixed, so for the first time in four months it actually closes properly. On Tuesday the 23rd, they returned again to straighten the bricks which edge the Asphalt of the driveway and to make the Asphalt as level with the brick as possible. It looks much better, not perfect by any means but we realise that unless the whole area of the Asphalt is also removed and the job started completely from scratch, this would be a difficult thing to do. It is a vast improvement from before and is now acceptable.

We unfortunately hired Stoneworks Canada last summer to pressure wash, replace polymer sand and then seal our interlock stone driveway, patio and porch with the wet look. They did not bother to remove stains and there was a white film on some of the pavers after their work was completed, but assured us that when applying a second sealing coat, at our expense, these items would be corrected. We would then not have to reseal for at least five years. In October Stoneworks Canada returned to apply the second coat. A cool and windy day, leaves falling from the trees and the crew from the company showed up at 6:00 p.m., insisting there was still time do to the job that evening. There was no attempt to make the corrections or prepare anything. They just blew away the leaves as they were falling and proceeded to slap on the sealer. Most of the job was actually done in the dark, with the crew unable to see what they were doing. A few weeks later the colour started to fade completely, unsightly blotches began to appear, as well as black gung between the stones, apparently excess sealer. Joseph, the proprietor of Stoneworks Canada, promised to inspect and rectify the botched job in the spring of this year. We have emailed, phoned and even paid a visit to their headquarters, a residential apartment, all to no avail. Joseph started out rendering excuse after excuse about being too busy, then apparently decided to ignore the whole matter. We paid over $ 2,000 to have our interlock pavers protected and beautified and they ended up looking worse than before Stoneworks was hired. Stoneworks Canada is a shoddy, unprofessional company totally void of any standards or customer orientation, with more unresolved complaints outlined on this site and others, including the Better Business Bureau. Beware of hiring this company for any work at all, and don’t be fooled by their website!

Claimed to use experienced masons, yet did a very shoddy job on our retaining wall. When wall went out of plumb immediately after the first thaw, the company would not return to examine the problem or provide any solution.
Ultimately I had to hire another contractor, at a cost of over $5000 to repair the work.
