Alan is very knowledgeable. Gave us quite a tour and pointed out potential and existing problems. He is very personable and good with kids if they happen to tag along. He identified a few serious issues which really helped us make the right decision. He also sent us a detailed report (55 pages!!!) that outlined all the issues and recommendations in an extremely timely manner (same day). I would without a doubt recommend Alan to anyone who is looking for a home inspection.

Having a personality and communication skills are very important as an inspector. Walking around for hours with someone who you can't stand and can't convey a message effectively is likely torture. I have seen those types of inspections and know how frustrating it can be. I find educating my clients is easier and they are more receptive when they are having an enjoyable time, making the experience that much more uplifting.Best of Luck in your new place.
