After getting quotes from 4-5 companies, we decided to go with Turnbull after meeting with Chris. They were not the cheapest quote, and they definitely were not the most expensive. We did not go with the cheapest roofer as we were skeptical with the quality of shingle and workmanship they would provide. Chris was very easy going and knew what he was talking about. He had answers for all of my questions and eased any of my concerns. We had done some research on shingles and the brand that they offered were at the top of our want list.

Our initial installation date did get postponed due to the two wind storms that we had, but we were told in advance that weather could potentially affect the date.

The day that they did our roof, the team and materials were there on time. The guys were very courteous and neat. When I arrived home from work, I was welcomed home by some of the workers. I did watch as they worked, and I noted that they were wearing harnesses so I assumed they were following working at heights protocol. When the team left, I did a walk around looking for nails. I could not find one. My neighbors said that the team was very quiet (as quiet as roofers can be), and did not have any complaints.

In our follow up meeting Chris went over all of our warranty information and answered all of our questions.

The job was done well from what we could see, and it was on budget. We are still waiting for a heavy rain to ensure there are no leaks (which we had before the roofing job), but with the few small rains that we had, we have not heard any drips.

I was fortunate enough to find Turnbull about 2 years ago. Turnbull is a serious company that stands behind their work. My previous dealing with other "door knocker" roofers was not the best especially as it pertains to follow up issues. These "fly-by-night" companies are nothing but trouble.

Turnbull did everything right. They came for an inspection, they provided a detailed quote with several alternative products. We chose to use the higher end Dow Corning shingle and we are very happy with the results.

After a recent wind storm, we noticed a small leak. A Turnbull crew came right over to fix the issue. I couldn't be more pleased

They were very professional, on time for all appointments, patiently answered our questions and explained exactly what the job entailed.
They identified a few issues we had in our attic and provided fixes.
They cleaned up after the job leaving the site as they found it. Would definitely recommend them.

I was lucky enough to have booked Turnbull Roofing the day the first of two wind storms swept through southern ontario.. taking many of my shingles with it. Literally an hour after Chris was here doing a quote, shingles started flying off in the wind.

My roof was only seven years old but an inferior shingle was used and poor install. I called Chris back and asked what they would do for me, after I sign back the estimate, to cover the plywood that was showing though. His team came back the very next day to tarp the area of roof that was bare.

Two weeks of deciding (my wife and I) on a colour and we were booked in and had the install complete a couple days after the second major wind storm.

Scott and the guys came out, were friendly, and took care of the property as best they could, cleaned up with few nails found around after they left. We had one downspout that was missed but finished shortly after.

Overall we're very happy with the work and professionalism as well as the cost for a superior product.

We hired Turnbull Roofing based on their reputation and a reference from a friend who had used them previously. We weren't disappointed. My wife did all of the work with Chris who was very fair and gave us a great price. They are not the cheapest but their products and workmanship is much superior to what I have seen done on our street. They use Owens Corning shingles which is far superior to the roofing shingles used by their competitors. Attention to detail and workmanship was amazing. We ran into some complications with wood rot and they sent in a special carpenter to handle the job rather than just patching it up and hiding the problem. Their roofing crew led by Scott are a great group of guys. Very conscientious and polite. They cleaned up our yard and both of my neighbour's yards after they finished. Our house looks fantastic. We are very, very please with their work and would recommend them wholeheartedly. Thank you for an excellent job.

The quote was comprehensive and accurate. The work started and finished on time. All of the roofers on site conducted themselves professionally and cleared all areas when finished.

Replaced the roof shingles. They completed the job the sameday and cleaned up nicely. No deris left behind. Job well done and fairly priced.

We contacted Turnbull Roofing after reading several positive reviews on HomeStars. We met with Chris for an estimate. He was very helpful and knowledgeable, suggesting the best colour of shingles to complement our home's exterior. We had obtained several quotes from competing companies, but Chris quoted us the best price with a much superior product, Owner Corning shingles. The installation crew was very efficient and friendly. Their workmanship is top notch. We are so happy with our choice, the roof looks great!

We chose to use Turnbull to replace our roof after recommendation from others who had used them. We were not disappointed. We discovered in late November that we needed a new roof, which was not the ideal time of year. They came and weather proofed our rotting roof until the replacement could be done when the weather improved. The work was done efficiently in March, even though it was a very chilly day. They started about 8am and were done before 3. The clean up was great. The attention to detail could not be faulted, including choosing vents that coodinated with the tiles. You can tell they are committed to doing a flawless job and committed to providing quality customer service. I would highly recommend this company.

THEY CAME AND IMMEDIATELY STARTED TO WORK AS AN AMAZING TEAM, THEY WORKED IN THE COLD AND WIND NO COMPLAINS AND WERE VERY POLITE ATTENTUVE TO THE CUSTOMER NEEDS.
THEY DID A BEAUTFUL JOB AND MADE THE 73 YEAR OLD HOUSE LOOK NEW AGAIN. THE SHINGLES WERE GOOD QUALITY AND COLOUR. THEY EVEN CAME BACK TO DO A SMALL REPAIR NOT RELATED TO THE ROOFING JIB FOR NO CHARGE. I WOULD HIGHLY RECIMMEND THIS COMPANY ANYONE CONSIDERING REPLACING ROOF. CLEAN UP WAS AMAZING NO MESS NO NAILS OR DEBRIS LEFT BEHIND IT WAS A PLEASURE HAVING THEM HERE FOR LESS THAN 8 HOURS. THEY WERE VERY EFFICIENT.
