Mac Leans Custom Kitchens

Right from the first meeting, when Terry MacLean showed up at our house, on time, to measure the kitchen, the floor, the powder room and other aspects of a major renovation, the professionalism and reputation of MacLeans Custom Kitchens was obvious. Later we received the kitchen and renovation plans and quote when Terry said we would. My wife and I then went to the store and met Barb who guided us in the selection of our flooring, kitchen and powder room cabinets, counters and backsplash. After some changes and adjustments to the plan and quote Barb gave us a date that the work was to begin. About a week before they were scheduled I received a call from Barb asking if they could come in a few days early to begin the work. Everyone involved in the renovation from George, who tiled our floors to Terry, Dave and Trevor were all competent, hardworking and pleasant. The whole project was completed on time, on budget with superior workmanship and with no surprises. Just wanted to say thank you to MacLean's kitchen for all their expertise during our kitchen transformation. Barb, you were instrumental in providing your ideas and savoir faire during our initial designing/decorating stage, while Terry was fundamental in getting it from paper to reality. This is the second project we had with MacLeans Kitchens. As with the first Project, the renovations were done on time and on budget. On the few occasions that unforseens issues were found, they offered practical and reasonable solutions that maintained the schedule and enhanced the final effects. The workmanship was of the highest quality and standards. The work site was kept clean and orderly. We have recommended them to our neighbors and friends. We anticipate working with them in future home renovations. Great job!

We've used them twice in one year now. We gutted our kitchen and redid it, then we sold our home and built a new home right after that and built another new kitchen. We liked the service that they provided and the workmanship that was put into it. They are more than amiable, in fact we just sent our son to them and our neighbor next door is redoing his kitchen in his primary residence and we sent him too, as well as referring friends of ours to them. With Macleans we saved money on the granite, laminate hardwood (all through our brand new home) and ceramic tiling. They were also more than happy to do anything. For example they’d come back and take the time to show my husband how they installed the crown moulding. They work very well-the husband, wife and brother team are just great people to work with. If there was a higher number than 10 I would give them that. I was VERY pleased and I don’t know if you’d be able to find anyone with even a slightly negative review of them.

We went out to see them and we were quite impressed with them right away. Barb was really helpful and then the two brothers came in and redesigned our kitchen for us and they worked really hard. We were really impressed with their service! They were right on time, price was more reasonable than other places, and they worked from the moment they came in the door until the moment they left. I can't complain about anything.

We had used them before for our kitchen when we lived in Pickering and now that we moved to Bowmanville we decided to use them again. They ripped out our entire kitchen and built a new one and removed an old whirlpool tub in our bathroom and replaced with a beautiful glass shower. They started the job on the date promised and they always do an excellent job and they're there everyday working. They're really great guys and very easy to work with. I've already recommended them to others.

I found out about them through a friend of my wife's that she works with. We compared prices with other companies but theirs was slightly better than others. They demoed my kitchen, took out a wall and put in a new kitchen for me. They were fabulous and I'd give them 10/10, no question!

We found out about McLeans when they renovated our neighbour's kitchen and since then they've completed three renos for us - our kitchen and two bathrooms. What keeps us loyal is their craftsmanship and making absolutely certain that we approve the finished job. They are creative and easy to work with. The price is average or perhaps a bit higher, but we get good quality and value. They take very good care of your home, for example they keep drywall dust encaptured and always clean the workspace dayly. They're a pleasure to deal with.
