Mac Leans Custom Kitchens

My husband and I called MacLean's Custom Kitchens for a kitchen renovation quote on the recommendation of a friend. We are so glad we took their advice! Barb, Terry, Dave and Trevor were wonderful to work with in planning and installing our new kitchen. Terry visited our home as scheduled, listened to what we envisioned for our new kitchen, discussed our options, and took appropriate measurements required for his drawings. We were provided a well-priced quote in a timely manner. We visited the shop in Bowmanville where we saw samples and examples of designs. Barb and Terry helped us finalize our plans, cabinets, countertop, backsplash and hardware. They really know their business!

I was so impressed when Barb proactively resolved what could have been a huge issue with our backsplash tile. Barb noticed that there was a manufacturer's error in the colour scheme so we chose another similar tile from a different vendor before it even made it to our kitchen.

Speaking of being impressed, we were totally impressed with the professionalism and attention to detail of Terry, Dave, Trevor and the demolition team who all took great care when working in our home. Our old, outdated kitchen cabinets were carefully removed and we donated to the Habitat ReStore. Our newly refinished hardwood floors were carefully covered as to not be marked during the installation. Our new kitchen cabinets were meticulously installed to Terry and Dave's high standards. Our new kitchen looks totally amazing! It is much more functional and stylish due to the expertise of MacLean's Custom Kitchens. Thank you Terry & Barb, Dave and Trevor!

Barb, Terry, Dave, Trevor and Co recently renovated our kitchen and replaced the main level flooring. We couldn't be happier with the overall results. The transformation is night and day. Our kitchen was transformed from painfully dysfunctional into a large open concept kitchen that restored balance to the overall space. Main level hardwood replaced previous flooring that gives it a natural look and flow. Looks fantastic (thanks Eric). They were on time, on budget, and ready to promptly resolve any issues along the way. MacLean's delivered on all fronts and goes the extra mile to make sure you are completely satisfied with the quality and results. My wife and I would highly recommend them to anyone who's interested. Everything went as planned, and in just over 2 weeks. Barb helped with the colours of floor and backsplash. I was consulted all along the way. The kitchen looks beautiful and my friends say it is "classy". I love my soft close drawers and cupboards, Lazy Susans and easy access cupboards. Everyone I met was professional, skilled and interesting. I learned a lot about kitchens. I had heard horror stories of kitchens taking months to finish so I was totally impressed that it was finished so quickly

I had a whole kitchen renovation and they were helpful during every step of the process. They told me when they would start the job and kept me informed each step along the way. We cannot begin to describe how incredible our experience has been with MacLeans! We had them complete Our kitchen and two washrooms (one of which was a death trap pre-MacLean intervention). Terry designed an incredible kitchen and showed us ways that we could save money by reusing some of the existing stuff the house had in the washroom. From the moment we stepped into the shop, Barb gave us lots of ideas, incredible advice, and help choosing everything, from flooring to cabinets and handles/knobs to faucets. She really looked after us by looking for/comparing products that fit within our budget but was also of great quality. The work started as we had arranged and every time I walked into the house to 'check on the guys' I was amazed by the quality of work and the amount of time it took Dave, Terry, Trevor, & George to complete the work (not as long as I had expected!). They took such great care in every aspect of the work, Dave and Trevor noticed small stones missing from the tiles in our bathtub and notified me immediately, giving us several options as to how we could proceed. The guys were very professional, fun, accommodating when we threw in last minute changes, and they gave us options to better utilize the space we have. From start to finish, Barb, Terry, Dave, Trevor, & George have been available to discuss ideas and to answer questions in order to make this process very enjoyable and smooth. So many people have come into our home since we had this reno completed and they are astonished by how incredible it is. Even we cannot believe that MacLeans was able to turn this old, beat up, poorly constructed house we purchased in July and turn it into our very own beautiful home in so little time! We thank everyone at MacLeans, you are all so amazing at what you do. I would say that I will recommend you to people in the future ... but I already have and will continue to do so! :)

MacLeans did our kitchen and bathroom renovations and we couldn't be more pleased.
Barb, Terry and Dave are very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. The quote included cost and insulation of flooring, cabinets, countertop and backsplash and they arranged everything.
There was a cabinet door that had a small nick which they ordered a replacement even before we had talked to them about it.
Dave and Terry even surprised us by moving our stove back into the kitchen during the renovation so we could use it over the Easter weekend. Thanks again.

Barb, Terry and Dave were all very professional and personal and friendly.They made us feel comfortable in their dealings with us.From the 1st time when Terry came over to see our space.He offered some great suggestions.They have a wide variety of options in cabinets, counter tops and flooring.They were very respectful of our property, and kept in mind that we still have to live here during renovations.They minimized the time that we were inconvenienced.The price was very reasonable and as per their estimate. They were very tidy and cleaned every day. The quality of their installs are fantastic.Top notch! We have an amazing kitchen remodel. After going through the usual steps and building suppliers, we decided to contact MacLeans. From the first meeting with Terry and Barb to the installation with Terry and Dave,we couldn't have been more pleased with our choice. We love our kitchen and the suggestions MacLeans made. All work came in on Budget and time. We highly recommend MacLeans to everyone!
