Tony and his team are fantastic. We had a genuinely awful underpinning experience with an engineer/contractor (Ken Davis) who should have stuck to drawings and not managing sites. He underpinned our basement but we stopped him from doing the walkout after a terrible time. We had Tony finish the job by doing the large walkout with storage (when no one else would touch it.) We really can't stress how completely different it was working with Tony in comparison. I broke down in tears the day I came home to find the walkout perfectly and beautifully done. There are few contractors we would recommend but Tony is one of them. We had been waiting on him to start our job and one day, to our surprise, his team showed up and he shocked us with doing half the work in a few days, so be prepared to have him show up and move fast, all without asking for even an down payment. Huh. It was truly impressive watching him and his team work so hard, but what really impressed us was his integrity. We aren't kidding here- he is actually a contractor that cares about his work. He was extremely fast, efficient, reliable, knowledgeable and clearly cares about his product - funny we have found these qualities rare in the field. He is worth waiting for. He is so fast he will do the job in half the time and trust us- he will do it better. His speed in no way compromises his work. Best of all his price happened to also be extremely competitive.

Tony completed the underpinning on my 100 year old semi in Toronto. I received his name through a referral. I checked his references and every single one was complimentary on Tony and the work he did for them. My experience was no different, Tony was great. From the start I knew I had the right person to do this work on my home. Tony and his team had to jack hammer the soil to dig down my basement. Throughout the project Tony kept me updated on progress, kept the site clean, executed the project finishing ahead of schedule and within the planned budget. Tony is a rare find in contracting, he takes pride in the work he does, is honest and works hard to ensure his customers satisfied. I would highly recommend Tony for your underpinning project.

We had one of the more challenging situations for a contractor: a Victorian rowhouse with a heritage designation, downtown, street parking only, no lane access. We were understandably very concerned about hiring the right team for this job, and spent a long time making our decision. We were impressed from the outset -- and for the duration of the job -- by Tony's honesty and his work ethic; he made a number of extra trips to our home even before he knew which company we'd be hiring, and his estimate was both very fair and right on target. He and his team met every challenge -- and given the surprises lurking under a century home, there were many -- with patience, reassuring confidence, and excellent workmanship. The only downside to working with him is that he's so very popular; you need to make arrangements well in advance and even then to be flexible wth your schedule.
