Windows & Doors Installation & Service review in Oshawa

Visage Windows & Doors installed a 12.5 foot patio door and a nine foot kitchen window which transformed the main floor of our home!!! I feel like we are living outdoors now. Salesperson Andy came to the site to take accurate measurements and look at the wall materials he would be working with. His product knowledge was incredible and he was able to make small suggestions, such as using a more modern trim to increase the glass size and view. Owner Dimitry then stopped by the project to inspect the work and make sure we were happy with the result. Next on our list is a new front door, which we will definitely be purchasing from Dimitry at Visage. The prices were considerably lower than all the other GTA window companies, without sacrificing product quality. Well Done Visage!

Installed WITHOUT A HEADER!!! 12 foot Patio Door and 9 foot kitchen window

Visage Windows & Doors installed a 12.5 foot patio door in a load-bearing exterior wall WITHOUT A HEADER!!! There is no support for my second floor or roof. Ceiling starting to sag in the middle. SAME STORY WITH MY 9 ft. span KITCHEN WINDOW. The installers have no idea what a header is!!! Owner Dimitry will not returns my calls and correct the problem. I have given him multiple opportunities to make this right. Salesperson Andy promised my patio door would have a vertical height of close to the ceiling (96") minus about 10-12 inches for the mandatory header. He then installed a 78" standard door with 18 inches of empty drywall with NO SUPPORTS above the window. The kitchen window was the correct measurements - BUT ALSO NO HEADER to support a 9 foot span. Homeowners who have used this company PLEASE OPEN YOUR DRYWALL TO VERIFY THERE IS A HEADER SUPPORTING THE STRUCTURE. I never would have discovered this as they covered it up under new drywall. Please, don't take the chance, IF YOU HAVE HAD WINDOWS OR DOORS INSTALLED, REMOVE A SECTION OF THE DRYWALL AND SATISFY YOURSELF THERE IS A HEADER. IT is not an optional feature - without it you will have major damage.
