Verbally attacked as an American
I was a happy customer until today. I had e-mail communications with gutterforce around new eaves. We decided to wait. Their last e-mail said: "Thank you for the email. Please advise if you want to book the fall eavestrough cleaning. We charge $150+HST for the service same as last year." Today they came to clean without consent. I was not home when they came - husband was home and confused - he didn't know why they were cleaning. After I got home I called to figure out why someone came to clean my clean gutters anyway. I spoke with one of the most belligerent men about this issue who decided to start to yell and attack me personally as he could tell from my accent I am American. He swore at me for being a Trump lover and told me to go back to where I came from where they don't pay people for services and screw people over. I was a happy Gutterforce customer but in my 13 years in Canada I have never been talked to like this. In addition, I am glad to see discrimination is not dead - I have nothing to do with Trump getting elected but I am being verbally abused because I am from the US. I'm amazed someone can hate Trump but treat me the same way Trump treats people. Way to go.

This individual confirmed eavestrough cleaning by email twice. “Yes - we need to book a cleaning - we are hoping for early November - anytime between Nov 5th - 15th. xxx Prince Edward Drive South, Etobicoke, ON” and “We are going to have the gutters cleaned this fall and replace in the spring due to budget constraints”.
On Nov 11th a GutterForce technician informed the household maid, at the door, he was there to clean the eaves. The husband was home and watched through the window while our service tech cleaned his entire house eaves including his detached garage. When the technician was finished the husband came outside and said his wife had not confirmed the cleaning. At no time did we ever receive a cancellation email, a cancellation phone call or a service cancellation at the door before the service tech started the cleaning.
Very deceptive and manipulative individuals deceitfully getting home maintenance services for free. These people did not pay for services we provided.
