Gutter Doctor

The review is not so much about the company as it is the person who did the job for us : Brian. We waited a while for someone to come as the management was too busy to clean gutters to assign some one to do a more expansive job as ours. Brian was the one who gave us the estimate and he finally was assigned to do the job. What a job he did. He is so meticulous and did such a superb job we feel we will no longer have any problem with water and ice overflowing. We are so delighted with the job he did for us. We highly recommend him.

Brian provided a quote and explained the charges. He then cleaned the gutters and applied caulking at one corner to repair a leak. We found Brian to be personable and knowlegeable. The work was done to our complete satisfaction.

The Gutter Doctor was contacted in September and of the three eavestrough cleaning companies we contacted was the last to provide a quote, taking about a month. It was, however, worth the wait. Technician Jeff called first (as requested), came over and walked around the perimeter with me noting all the problem areas I showed him and then went on the roof and examined the entire system. He then provided a detailed, itemized proposal for work. He was willing to start immediately, but we wanted to think about all the recommendations and associated costs. The following day (a Saturday) we contacted the company (Laura) that we would like a portion of the recommendations done, believing that the bunged up downspouts were responsible for most of the leak as well as overflow problems. Jeff came over Sunday afternoon and did the work we had requested, cleaning and clearing all the gutters, strengthening straps and fastenings, and he did so conscientiously and efficiently. Inside of two hours. We did a hose test on the major systems to check that the plugs were eliminated. As a consequence, I would not hesitate to recommend this young man and the company he represents.
After a heavy snowfall followed by a rapid melt, we found that one of Jeff's recommendations that we did not follow earlier needed fixing,as a bad leak on a downspout from a joint was feeding a large crack in the concrete pad below it. The company immediately notified Jeff who came out immediately and fixed it. As a consequence, I have changed my rating from 9 to 10 stars for this company.

Brian, our technician, is a star. Not only did he clean our gutters but offered great advice on our problems with drainage. We have asked him to come back in the Spring so we can further remedy that problem. Brian is very pleasant to work with, listens carefully and takes his time in replying to our concerns. We would not hesitate to highly recommend him.

Sadiq was our Gutter Doctor technician. He did a "Perfect Job"! We have hired many contractors over the years to do various types of work and it is not often you can find someone as good as Sadiq. We rerouted one downspout to drain into an adjacent eaves, relocated another downspout with a 30 ft extension to drain away from our fence posts to prevent premature rotting out, and replaced two fold-up extensions. Very happy with the job done and quality of materials used. This is the second time we have used the Gutter Doctor and highly recommend them to others looking for quality work at a reasonable price.

Brian, the Technician, did a fabulous job. Despite the heavy smoke in the air, he completed the most thorough and professional gutter cleaning that I have ever had. Thanks....your good works are much appreciated.

I was hopeful - that when you clean the gutters - you take care of - and fix a problem. It was really not Gutter Doctor's fault that the trees in this area are now losing leaving faster than expected - but I do have the concern that the price of " Starting At : " on their website - does cost twice or more - of the expected price. We still have the same problems now - the water is not draining. They did their best - they did show concern to come back twice - and make some other options as to how to solve the problem(s). I guess, as the home owner, my expectations of having paid out some serious cash, would have fixed the issue. The last hail storm and rain - did plug everything up again now - so this is based on two weeks back. I guess I feel bad - we are back at square one - spend about 250 more - to 500 to …. to really come up with a solution - or just keep on waiting now - until next year. I guess this weekend - I will have to take out my ladder - and start cleaning - a new crop of leaves and pine cones - from two of our trees - and mostly the neighbor's trees. Trees - like pets - are a blessing when they work with you - when they don't do what you expect - it can cost a lot ! LOL - I give them 4/5 for giving me hope - I guess only a 2 /5 for finding me a cost effective solution to this problem. It was a working idea back - two years ago - something must have aged - or changed with the home and gutters - to make it the problem - that it appears to be now. Keep you posted - I know that the Gutter Doctor has done as much as humanly possible to keep me happy - with that I am content.

Brian came by to clean our gutters (which hadn't been cleaned in a few years) and did a thorough, fantastic job). Not only did he clean the gutters and snake the downspouts, but he also went above and beyond and fixed a few small minor areas where the screws and supports were loose at no extra charge. I would definitely recommend Gutter Doctor and will be calling them down the road for any of our gutter needs. A+ service!
