Tim and the KNT crew of electricians were outstanding!
They replaced all of the knob and tube and aluminum wiring in our 100 year old home. They were able to replace the wiring and add new switches and outlets by cutting a few small holes (never larger than an outlet box) in the plaster walls. Most of the time they just used the holes for the new outlet boxes and no access holes were needed. They patched the access holes These guys know what they are doing when it comes to replacing knob and tube wiring. They also wired our new kitchen. This house is now up to the current electrical code.
I spoke to several electricians before engaging KNT. Most said it couldn't be done or they would have to remove the the plaster from the studs.
Tim is extremely knowledgable and organized.
I would highly recomment Tim and KNT for the replacement of knob and tube wiring in older homes.

My dad used to tell us about the old days when electricians used a Sawzall to cut swaths between the studs or joists to run the wire and they did not do drywall repair. Thank you for the recomendation
