Alex has a wonderful personality and is very easy to work with. Him and his team had our fence and gate up - lickity split! You can tell that they have many years experience. We were so impressed that we referred him to our neighbours!

Alex is a very nice person. He started the project last summer (2015) where he took the deck off our flat roof (we had it repaired) and then rebuilt a new deck. The rebuild was not as well done (screws missing which led to some warping on one of the longest boards). What makes Alex different is that when we told him about the issue this summer (2016) he did get back to us immediately by e-mail. Although it took most of the summer to schedule the repair, Alex did come when promised and took the time to make sure that he replaced not only that board but also do a detailed inspection of the other ones and add the screws necessary.

We contracted with Pro Reno to replace our chain-link fence with a wood fence around our property. Alex was very professional, showed up with his crew promptly on the date and time discussed, was very accommodating to design changes and recommended some enhancements of his own, at no additional cost, was clean and efficient and completed the project by deadline required. We are very happy with the final product and have received favourable comments from our neighbours. We were completely satisfied and highly recommend Pro Reno for your fencing needs.

We share a fence with 2 other neighbors. It had seen better days and needed replacing. Alex Guete - the owner - came promptly and gave us a competitive quote. He's a very good communicator. He and his workers arrived promptly (the job started and finished right on time) and were very courteous (answered all questions) and efficient. There were some modifications (one neighbor decided they wanted a gate after the job was started) and Alex was very accommodating and easy going. They left the job site clean and tidy and did not damage any of our vegetation. Their work was first rate. The fence looks great and we are ready to enjoy the pleasure of looking at a nice straight clean fence for many years. All three neighbors highly recommend Alex and his company Pro-Reno Ltd.

The work Alex and his partner completed was very poor in every aspect. I'm surprised at the rating they have here but then again that's why I hired them as well. The fence was done poorly and gate has been an ongoing issue. Nails sticking out and wood cut and attached loosely and dangerously. Have tried to rectify with them directly before looking at other options and no success. They have come a couple of times but the issue still remain. Just look at the pics of the work they completed. Take my advice....do not hire this company to help with any work. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE and FAST!

Proreno is the second contractor I have used from Home-stars. Me and my neighbour love the fence they build for us.
They were here for three days and I was impressed by how clean and organized my backyard was at the end of each day.

Also they didn't charge us extra to away our old fence.

Since we are having mild tempratures we disided to do some back yard projects before contractors get very busy.
We picked proreno to do the work. Quality of their work was very good. We couldnt be any happier.
We give them a rating of 10.

Alex installed my fence as well as a composite deck. He's a nice guy but his craftsmanship was shoddy. The deck was installed improperly even after reminding him several times the deck needed support every 12" there are sections with spacing between 16-18" and the deck is weak in those sections. As well the fence has twisted at every pole. I've tried to contact him twice but he won't respond at all. so much for his 4 year piece of paper warranty. I'd avoid frustration and find someone else to do your deck and fence.

I asked Alex for a horizontal, modern style fence made from Sienna pressure-treated wood. As an architect, I can be pretty particular about details, especially for my own house. Alex and crew were simply amazing… the fence is beautifully made. Alex put in all the details I asked for, and even re-clad an existing gate to match. His price was very reasonable, and yes, he actually does get back to you, promptly. Highly recommended.
