It was a pleasure working with The English Painter and Company, and we appreciated their prompt attention to our request, both for the estimate and for the job itself. Their work was thorough and tidy, and we are enjoying the refreshed look of the bedroom that was painted.

I have just had my second excellent experience with the English Painter. In the fall, they painted downstairs. This week Gareth and his assistant Dylan did a wonderful job painting the living room. I only regret that I do not have more rooms to paint! His wife Carol takes care of the business angle and she is fast, efficient and provides a firm date for doing the job, taking into account the home owners needs (I had a set date for hardwood installation and wanted the painting done before then). Gareth is delightful to work with and took on a few extra things that he noticed when he was there, such as unplugging the bathroom sink drain and fixing the floor where the new and smaller baseboard heater left a gap. The work was done on time and on budget. Everything was cleaned up at the end of each day. And yes, the painting itself was done wonderfully. I recommend the English Painter without reservation.

We have renovated and wanted a professional paint job done in the house. We were so happy to have found The English Painter. Gareth came to the house at a time convenient to us and gave a quote for the work, room by room, by work required. He and his crew filled in cracks, caulked our trim, primed and painted the house from the basement up. The house was always left in a neat state at the end of each work day and when the job was completed everything was left tidy. They were always friendly and humble. I certainly appreciated Gareth's professional tips for other ideas around the house. Would most certainly call them again.
