Jacob and Rose came in for a detailed move-in cleaning of our new home at the end of June. They did an excellent job and were very professional. Their rate is also very reasonable for the level of service provided. I appreciated the walk through at the end.

I have to agree wholeheartedly with the review written by Jelena on Jan 4. I was also emailed multiple times over the course of service, with the Home Cleaning Team asking me to rate them as 10/10 on this website, and in return, I would get a $10 discount. I was happy to do it because their service at the time was excellent. However, things have drastically changed with this company. It seems like they lost some workers around the end of 2011 and things have fallen apart since then. My cleanings have been cancelled, re-scheduled at the very last minute, with the communication often being by text message. The last straw was this week. They were supposed to come on Wednesday morning to clean. I got a text message at 8:56 that they weren't coming, but re-booking until Friday afternoon. I was offered a $20 discount which I did appreciate. However...come Friday, I received a text message saying they were running behind and would be here at 11 AM. First of all, the appointment was for the afternoon, not the morning. But I didn't mind, a cleaning any time would do...except that is the last I heard of them. I texted at 3:15, asking where they were and never got a response. I don't know what's going on with this company, but they went from being extremely professional and providing great service, to being extremely unreliable and unprofessional. I will be looking for a new cleaner ASAP.

Jacob and Rosa have been cleaning my boyfriend's apartment, where I have been living for the past few months. They do an outstanding job- the most thorough house clean I have ever seen. They passed all my tests with flying colours!

It all started pretty normal. Initially, I had bi-weekly cleaning service. I would rate the service as 7.5-8 out of 10 but I was ok with that, I was not and am not looking for perfection and was happy with their affordable rates. I then upgraded the service to once per week - we have a toddler and are working professionals, life is hectic!
Now, what struck me as odd is that they would email me asking to rate them as 10/10 on Homestars and in return, I would get $10 off my next cleaning. I never did that, as I believe that their service was not 10/10. I rely on Homestars' reviews when I research different companies that I would consider hiring. Therefore I did not feel that leaving a 10/10 review would be an honest thing to do.
In the interim, the lady who cleaned my house had left the company. Next week’s cleaning (actually today) was supposed to be done by the owners, Jacob and Rose. They were to arrive here at 9AM and this was confirmed last night. Let me preface that I even took the day off work to show them around the house and what needs to be done. Just as I did with the previous cleaner.
Well... as I’m getting ready for their arrival this morning, I get an email from the owners at 9:03AM today advising me that they would not be able to make it! Wait a second, weren't they supposed to be here at 9AM today, yet they are notifying me via email at 9:03AM? Did we not confirm last night that they will be here this morning? Yes we did.
What's even more frustrating is that I was not even given the courtesy of a phone call, when they fully knew that I had taken a vacation day to meet with them. I replied to their email and got no response. They are hiding, knowing fully well that I am upset. For someone who spends $400 per month on their services, you think they would be a little more considerate in own actions? I guess not. This is very rude, brazen and completely unprofessional.
I would rather pay more than have to deal with this nonsense from two very young and immature individuals. Lesson learned, you get what you pay for. BEWARE.

We have a 120 year old Victorian house which has not had a complete makeover and is not easy to clean. No central vacuuming system; missing quarter-round; high ceilings which attract spiders; complex trim and baseboards; partially stripped woodwork; damaged floors (I could go on forever). And because of Rose and Jacob's excellent attention to details our house looks and feels amazing. Many thanks!

We just purchased a home and the place needed somer serious cleaning. Jacob and Rose came with a fantastic team and they were amazing. From top to bottom, they were through, detailed and professional.
In the bathrooms they disinfected, cleaned all the appliances, the cupboards, the ceiling fans, let me tell you, it looked like the previous owners never cleaned!!!
We had renovators in and they were able to work around them to get things done (which was greatly appreciated) and just a friendly bunch who took pride in what they did.
Our new home is ready for us now, thanks to Jacob and Rose.
A great team I would highly recommend for anyone who needs help cleaning.

Had Home Cleaning Service come by to do a post-move out cleaning on one condo and a post-move in on another very messy condo; they worked very hard and diligently, were on time, and I was very satisfied (as usual) with their professionalism. Will continue to be a very happy customer.

Jacob and Rose and friend were punctual and thorough in cleaning my house.
Their friendly easy attitude allowed me to be comfortale in any suggestions or requests I had.
I am having them back in another week. I would highly recommend their company to anyone.
