Versatile Renovations

Versatile helped us with renovation of two of our bathrooms. Our master bathroom has a weird layout and window placement which worked OK with very popular in early 2000 but not very practical jacuzzi style bathtub which we used to have there and our intention was to replace it with a walk in shower. Problem was that layout and window virtually excluded the possibility to use any standard solution and when it came to the window 2 contractors we talked before simply refused to deal with it. Both started with offering to remove or just drywall over the window and when we replied that this was not an option one just refused to give us a quote and second said he would be able to do a shower but was not comfortable to tile and water proof around the window and at any case would not warrant that part of the job. At that point we decided to only do kids bathroom and that's where we found Versatile. Unlike other contractors who wanted us to wait weeks just to come in to give an estimate, Herb, the owner, came just in couple of days and it was immediately obvious he knows his stuff. To our great surprise in addition to very reasonable (not cheap but fully adequate to what we wanted) quote he also suggested what could be done to our master bathroom and even more important was willing to back it with multi years warranty (including our problematic window).
At project planning stage Versatile was very easy to deal with. Trista provided us with a suppliers list and also let us use they discounts there to buy parts and tiles which saved us several hundreds dollars. As some other review already have mentioned they were OK with us buying stuff from vendors outside of they suppliers list (like Amazon) and this also very much helped to keep project within the budget.
Project was started the day it was scheduled. Team always arrived on time, did a reasonable job to keep site clean. On every step where our opinion would matter we were consulted and in addition Herb made several recommendations which required us to rethink our original plans. Recommendations were very reasonable and we are very happy that we accepted them - results are excellent and we even saved some money (how many contractors will tell you not to spend extra money!?).
Overally we are very happy with projects outcome and for sure would recommend Herb and his team.
