I suggest that you may want to think twice before using this company
Worked with Monarch during a recent insurance restoration (June 2023), where the cost of the engineered hardwood flooring and installation accounted for about 80% of the repairs cost. Eric was very diligent in finding the right product for us. He was professional and pleasant to deal with. Based on my earliest interact with him I would have rated Monarch 10 stars.
But between Mark and him there seemed to be some miscommunications which resulted in the installation of the hardwood around the tiles in our kitchen not as we wanted. We even have an email trail in which we communicated what we wanted. We were told that if we wanted this mistake corrected, we would have to pay for it - even though it seemed to us the problem was with clearly with Monarch. But even with those missteps I'd still have rated Monarch with 5 or 6 stars.
So why a 1 star rating - it isn't because the installed hardwood flooring still squeaks in places or the flaws in the Appalachian Hickory are still there even though someone from Monarch visited to deal with them.
The 1 star rating is based on the pettiness of the president/director Matt who, although he indicated he would, refuses to provide the name of the Local Authorities Appalachian dealer. This meant I had to contact Appalachian in Quebec and then spend a morning talk to numerous parties before being connecting with the correct party.
