3 movers were supposed to show up for the move out. Only 1 did, and Galaxy did nothing to help after many calls by us and the one mover who showed up. my husband and I did the whole move out by ourselves with only one mover. The move in the next day was just as bad since one of the two movers who showed up got sick (food poisoning from the bbq last night) so we had to work again. So in effect we paid Galaxy but did the lions share of the work ourselves. Why? Because they held our belongings hostage on the truck until they were paid in full.
The dispatcher called my husband a 'whack job', and told him he was was making up that only one person showing up to do the move, and then said that the entire fee had to be paid in full or the truck would not show up the next morning to unload at the new location.
your company already knew that one only mover came out that
day. We paid in full by e-transfer. Your dispatcher then said 'if we
come our in the morning' to which my husband said 'WTF, what do you mean IF you come out in the morning?' We later received an email indicating payment received and that the truck would come out in the morning.
My husband never swore at your office receptionist.
You're not sorry about the move. You did not try to make it right with us. You wouldn't return our calls. You would not even respond to the Better Business Bureau.

Hi Colleen, I'm sorry your move went so badly. We have done 10s of 1000's of moves and this was an anomaly. Your husband hired us to do the move with "2" guys. The extra helper from Victoria fell sick, we then got 2 replacement workers immediately. However they were 40mins away, when the driver advised your husband he was going to pick him up as the helper did not have cab fare. Your husband refused. Saying the elevator was only booked for a short period and that he would help. Your husband went on several swearing threating tirades at the dispatcher and the girl in the office so we had to block his calls.
