Roof on homes completed our new roof install. I obtained several quotes and their quote was very competitive but not the lowest, ultimately based on the professional estimate, in person consultation regarding the scope and Material with Danny, Marie and Chuck. It seemed like a group of people who cared about client experience and offering the best value on my investment. I’m really glad I hired them, there were only pleasant surprises throughout. The installation team was very courteous, arrived on time, respectful of my property at all times and ensured to clean up. The roof looks great. All paperwork was promptly provided and Warranty registered with shingle manufacturer. Highly recommend this company

We looked at a number of roofing company's before deciding on Roofs on Homes. The reason for our decision was that Roofs on Homes provided the most comprehensive information package of all, which included up to date WSIB (ie: worker's insurance ). In addition the estimate was clear and easy to understand. Also when we asked for local references, many were provided. We were able to speak to a couple of these past customers and all were very happy with the work done on their roofs. It was an easy decision for us after that. The crew that showed up was great. This was the second time we have used Roofs on Homes. We used them in our previous home back in 2019 and again in 2021 in the home we just moved into. We decided to obtain 4-5 quotes from other companies but in the end, decided to go with Danny and his team at Roofs on Homes for several reasons.

First, they were one of the few companies that actually went into our attic space to evaluate proper ventilation including baffles and bathroom venting. Second, they were honest with us in terms of what absolutely needed doing and the differences among various options including shingles, sheathing etc.

As background to our new home, the inspector found moisture issues in the attic due to improper bathroom venting and all the sheathing rotted over time due to that exposure. We also had mould in the attic as a result. Danny confirmed the findings of our inspector including the lack of air baffles.

In the end, we had them replace all sheathing with new plywood, ice/water shield, synthetic underlayment, proper max vents and drip edge. We went with Landmark shingles which have a great reputation for holding up in all sorts of conditions. What's most impressive is that the crew worked 3 days straight in 40+ degree weather. Many other roofing companies would have found reasons why the job couldn't be done on time but Danny followed through.

I have no affiliation with the company and it's extremely rare for me to leave reviews. I have since referred them to my neighbour who had the same experience when obtaining quotes from other companies. They came away impressed with how upfront and honest Danny was throughout the entire process. I can't recommend them enough!

I initially engaged Roofs on Homes to deal with a leak I had in the roof after a heavy rainfall. I found them on Home Stars and they had great reviews. The technician came, reviewed the issue and repaired the leak. I asked him about the status of the roof and he indicated that it may need to be changed in a year or two (which sounded right based on the previous time it was replaced). I decided to go ahead and replace the roof now. I was contacted by Danny who came by, did an assessment and provided a number of options and their associated costs. We agreed on a plan and I added the eavestrough replacement which were original and needed to be upgraded. The crew (of 7 or so) arrived on time on the agreed upon day, worked very efficiently (the job was done on the same day) and did a fabulous job. They cleaned up all debris and arranged to have the bin removed on time. A few days later another crew arrived to complete the eavestrough replacement with the same results. I was very happy I found Roofs on Homes on Home Stars and would unreservedly recommend them for any roof work!

We chose Roofs on Homes over other contractors based on their use of CertainTeed shingles, training certifications and their reputation. This was important to us because apparently, warranty claims are often denied by roofing manufacturers if the shingles are not installed by experienced, certified installers. We were also impressed with Rich, who was very knowledgeable and helpful with explanations of the requirements for an optimal roofing system. He suggested options for consideration, giving enough information so that we could decide, and never trying to sell us anything we didn't need. He even gave us tips on attic insulation when asked. Rich was always very responsive to our questions and requests. The company was very organized and efficient, and the crew who installed the roof were obviously skilled, focused, efficient and very hardworking. We are very happy with the beautiful new roof and have every confidence it will last a long time, especially with the extended warranty and Roofs on Homes supporting it. We highly recommend Roofs on Homes!
