I can't recommend the FinishedBasement.ca team highly enough. Five years ago they finished the basement of our townhome in north Burlington and completely transformed the space; when we moved to a detached home this spring there was only one company we wanted to finish the basement. We wouldn't hesitate to hire them again. This company is extremely professional -- from initial consultations through to final payment, service is exceptional, always promptly responding to any questions or concerns. The crew shows up on time, always professional and tidy. You always feel like you're in good hands. With this second job, the actual costs were slightly lower than the estimate, and we were promptly paid the credit. The payment schedule is a relief for first-timers, as payments are coordinated with the completion of various stages. E.g. you don't worry about whether they're going to show up to finish any work because you only pay them for what they've done. Not that that would be a concern because they move fast (our unfinished basement was completed in >2 weeks) and know their stuff. The feeling for us was one of getting highly professional and highly skilled contractors at competitive & reasonable rates. This is an awesome team and we tell all of our friends to call them if they need a basement.
