Contacted Turnbull Masonry for chimney repair which in short order. Came to do the work shortly after and very efficient. Very knowledgeable and affordable prices. Would highly recommend them.

We had salt corrosion and ice damaged on the garage pillar that broke up 4 courses of brick. In addition our stone fireplace had stone gratings that I had tried to repair but failed. Out of the 4 people I called only Turnbull had showed up and provided a written contract. Two of three that responded only used my photos to estimate the work of which were quoted either higher and lower than Turnbull's. One person did not respond.
The workers showed up, were very professional and repaired the brick pillar to match the rest of the garage wall. With respect to the stone work they were able to match the unique mortar colour of the fireplace using the stones I had provided. You can not tell the difference. Excellent work and very professional from start to finish.

Part 1 - replace crumbling bricks beneath front window, re-grout all the bricks beneath the window sill and calk.
Part 2 - tuck pointing bricks on side of house adjacent to garage, as well as coat brick wall to prevent water seepage through wall (we were seeing water inside garage in wall)
The crew arrived on time, completely work as contracted and cleaned up after they were done.

They completed a new concrete pad, parking and caulking in 1.5 days. They work weekends! Which helped to make working from home easier. Pricey, but fast and good work.

Brick tuck pointing and repair is not particularly rewarding for a homeowner, but has to be done.
Turnbull made it less painful, did good work, and were pleasant throughout.
I would call on them again (though hopefully I wont have to!).

Ron came back to resolve a small issue I had with chimney from some 5 years ago at no cost so I didn't hesitate to have him do this work as well. I will be calling Ron again when I figure out what I want to do with my front porch.

After a lengthy discussion on repair to brickwork & parging, I hired Turnbull masonry. Initially the work looked acceptable. After six months, the parging had crumbled, at which point I contacting Turnbull. I was assured that the issue would be resolved. It took a few exchanges to arrange, but the repair was completed as promised. I was walked through what had been done & received a follow up call to make sure that the issue was resolved.
