We were excited approaching Hy-Grade Roofing for our new roof, they had nothing but glowing reviews from our Co-Worker Mike D.
Our Rep was ‘brand new’ with this type of business but eager to get us started, our order was confirmed in Dec. 2017 for instillation 6 Months following ‘July 15, 2018’.
1. Delayed Material Delivery
- We had to contact the Rep to find out what was going on.
*** No Communication about a delay from Hy-Grade.
2. The Crew did not start until after 11:00 am on July 30, 2018.
- The Crew were very polite
*** The Crew did not complete the roof in the average number of
days. *** it took 4 days longer
3. The delay in completion of the roof cost time off work and an
additional loss of income for both of us. (Midnight shift).
4. There was a further delay after the inspection before the Crew
returned to correct some issues on the roof as well as the fascia
of the dormer over our front door. (The look is still questionable)
****Again no call about there being a delay*****.
5. Our Rep never checked in to see if the fixes were made.
This is Our Hy-Grade Steel Roofing experience.
- Approximate cost of services:
- $24,000.00

Hello,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We do want to reiterate that the timeframe given at contract approval is an estimated timeframe and not a firm date. Due to the many factors that affect our installation schedule, including but not limited to; installation crew availability, weather, unforeseen installation extensions, etc. we are not able to provide firm installation dates but rather estimated timeframes. Our estimate to you was July 16th and materials were delivered July 20th ahead of the installation crew’s scheduled start.
We do not require homeowners to be present during installation. Your roof was completed on August 3rd. Upon completion of installation we perform a quality control inspection. As notified via phone call, this inspection took place on August 13th and a notice was left. We did not find any issues with the functionality of your roof but we did require the installer to return to the job site for cosmetic corrections. On August 21st you spoke with our Service Manager who informed you that the crew was currently on another job but would be arriving immediately after, within the following 2 weeks. The crew did return to complete corrections and your roof is now under warranty.
We are confident you will enjoy your permanent peace-of-mind for years to come and thank you for your business.
-The Hy-Grade Team
