Our advice when researching metal roofing companies is to skip right over London Eco Metal. With the exception of dealing with the sales person, who was professional and knowledgeable, our interactions with this company have been an ordeal we would not wish on anyone. The representative of this company (manager?) decided early on that it might be more prudent to back up the unacceptably sloppy installation of their sub-contracted crew rather than admitting to a poor installation job - either because they did not want to loose face or out of pure arrogance. With better communication, these problems could have turned out to be nothing but a little hiccup. Instead they snowballed out of control and turned into a very stressful episode. Most unacceptably of all, not once throughout the process would the company representative ever conceive of the possibility that we, their clients, might be honest people, justified to have issues with the installation, or be sincerely interested in finding an inexpensive, workable solution. It was an utter slap in the face to have to have gone through this debacle and end up here, having to write this review.

If you want a quality roof, without the drama of endless phone calls and emails (in length and quantity), without the humiliation of being accused of misrepresenting what was agreed or not agreed to (despite having plenty of written proof otherwise), chose a different company. We realized that the next step we would have had to make to get closer to resolving the deadlock is to hire a lawyer. Seeing how we are not litigious people, we decided to go this route, the route of warning people for what you might be in for.

Some (and only some of the) issues:

*Terrible and at times non-existent communication throughout
*All the work was done without safety harnesses, ropes and/or other safety equipment
*No communication from the crew about any potential problems while the installation was in progress, even though one of us works from home
*Zero willingness to listen to our side of the story or consult us about solutions
*In every phone conversation and email communication we were strung along with endless excuses - the company representative seemingly being unable to entertain the possiblity there could ever be a problem with their workmanship, even if sub-contracted.

Spare yourselves the potential grief. There are plenty of other options.

I was referred to this company by an acquaintance of ours who used this company. I had seen there work and liked what they had done. In September I meet with a roofing consultant and got a quote for a metal roof for my residence in Toronto. I was pleased with the consultant and his information and we decided to go with this company. I was contacted by someone from the company on November 13, 2020 who advised me that they would be coming by on November 16, 2020 to drop of the supplies so they could start working on our roof the next day or so. I called the office to November 17, 2020 in the pm to advise that no one had should up. I was advised that because of the weather, they must of been delayed with the previous job and would come on November 18, 2020. I waited until November 19, 2020, but no one showed up and I called the office again. The person I spoke to at the office was not able to give me any information about what was happening. Finally someone showed up on November 20, 2020 in the pm to start working on our roof. I was surprised that there was only one person to work. After the worker had left my residence, I had gone outside to see what was done and found that the later was left up and it was screwed in but I didn't think this should have been left up as it seemed like a safety hazard to me especially since the worker did not return to my residence until a few days after. I am still waiting for them to come and finish the job and there is a lack of communication. I am still waiting to hear back to see when they will be attending my residence to hopefully finish the job. This was suppose to be 1 weeks job and it has now been going on the second week.

Fantastic job done by London Eco Metal manufacturing, I was worried when my old roof 15 year life was ending, and I was lucky to know about this roofing contractor, It was very easy and flexible to talk and make appointment with them. Moreover there price was affordable and their work was was simply super. I have also recommended to my friends and family members. It worth investment with this contractor as this have added value to my house, thank you guys

We had to replace our rotting back deck and decided to put in a concrete patio and extend the roofline over a portion of it. We decided to put a metal roof on the extension since there is a large tree in our backyard. London Eco metal roofing was able to tie into our existing shingled roof almost seamlessly and it looks fantastic.

Great Company. Easy to get ahold of and they actually put the roof on sooner than expected and it only took a day to install. looks incredible ! we are very happy with the quality and appearance! Looking forward to many years of enjoyment! Can't wait to see how it preforms in the winter. It already feels warmer in the house even with the thermostat set at the same temp !

Dealing with this company has been the single worst experience of my 28 years of hiring companies to do work on my home. They took 15 days to complete the installation, during which time there were several thunder storms, whereby rain got into my attic causing a yellowing crack in my ceiling (see photo). If you're home was built pre 1950 (before drywall was used), be aware that the extra weight and hammering may cause cracks in ceilings. They missed caulking in 2 areas of the roof and have not responded to multiple requests by phone, text and e-mail to finish the job. A 55 year warranty is of no value if the company does not have good customer service.

The material is good and affordable. Service was good and finish the work within four days, they are giving good price compared to other company. They have lots of colours and design.
