Our business has certainly been built on referrals and our reputation for always delivering not only excellent service, but also on educating our customers about how many contractors cut corners to save costs and the long term implications of doing so. We believe an educated homeowner is a well protected homeowner. Many times it is better to invest a little more time and a little more money up front. Doing it "too cheap" off the bat often results in a very expensive education later. Even the Alberta Building Code has lower standards compared to more progressive codes like BC's, and we follow and often exceed the better BC code requirements to ensure that our roof installation will outlast the products every time. Sure we could improve efficiency by automating more of the processes and hire lower cost labour, but we feel strongly that the personalized service and the experience is what makes the difference between an average or poor renovation and a great renovation experience. By clearly setting expectations, there is little confusion and much more clearly defined results planned from the start. Education on how to ensure a long-term LEAK-PROOF installation of windows, doors, siding, and roofing is one of the most important investments you can make into your home. Saving some cost up front often costs more in the long run, which is why we don't sacrifice when it comes to the quality of labour, quality of installation materials, or the quality of products we install. Curb appeal is definitely also a consideration as new windows, doors, and siding can really show off your pride of ownership, as well as make your home more attractive to a potential buyer should you decide to sell later.
