First of all, big thanks to Homestars for the useful information and recommendations based on the past work. We finalized on Larry from Pool Buoy for our pool leak detection. Right from our first call to diagnostics to fixing of the leak, we had a great experience.

Larry is very knowledgeable about leak detection work and he has all the necessary and sophisticated equipment to execute the job. We would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Larry to any other pool owner for leak detection services. We are his satisfied customers for a job well done. Thanks a lot Larry and we wish you the very best.

I would highly recommend Larry and Pool Buoy to anyone in the GTA. We knew that we needed a new liner and wanted add and heater and salt system, and Larry came to our home and walked us through everything very systematically. We had requested quotes from another couple of pool companies, but they just sent us a price list that didn't include installation of the heater and the wiring that would have to be done; we would have to have contacted them and made arrangements on our own. Larry's price was competitive and included the coordination of all of that work, which was a HUGE plus for us. From the first meeting, Larry showed his expertise and professionalism; he always replied to our emails very promptly, kept us informed on timelines, and when he was delayed one day, he made sure we knew ahead of time. I would use Pool Buoy again in a heartbeat!!!

My Husband and I just purchased a home. Of course the deal was the pool needed to be in good working condition upon possession. Unfortunately it did not take long to realize this was not the case. The pool was slowly losing water, the filter did not seem to be working and the pump was not performing as it should be; where to start??? We replaced the filter and instantly we saw the pressure improved but quickly realized there was a large amount of air in the system. We called Larry, he was terrific. He was on time, and made the diagnosis quickly...to our dismay we had a cracked pipe! Larry came back to fix the crack without incident, he knew exactly where the crack was. I am so grateful for his expertise and thank him profusely for all of his help, he has put our minds at ease and has allowed us to move forward. You deserve a 10! Thank you Larry:)

Thanks to HomeStars we found Pool Buoy and Larry did a fantastic job for us, he found the leak behind the jet and repaired it. This was difficult to diagnose and other repairmen had missed it and we were so frustrated, paying for repairs and still having a problem and now thanks to Larry, for the first time this Summer our pool is perfect.

We found Pool Buoy from reading the reviews on HomeStars and so glad we went with this company. We have a huge L-shape pool with approximately 150,000 L. Larry and his team did a great job at both installations (the liner and the safety cover). Larry always answered our email and phone calls promptly. He kept us updated regarding the timeline for the project and carried everything out as promised. He also followed up after completion to make sure everything was working and we were happy with the results. Thank you Larry for taking on our project despite the long travels you had to make in order to complete it. What an excellent job you did!

If you are looking for someone you can trust then you have found the right guy. Larry is THE shining star in an industry full of "characters" and "half wits". He is always punctual, curtious and accessable. We recently hired Pool Buoy to replace the liner in our 16x32 inground pool. The liner is in and it is absolutely beautiful! Larry went WAY above and beyond to make sure we were happy. He answered every phone call and email promptly(and there were many), helped us repair damage that was not evident when the job was started and suggested the services of other reliable companies to help complete our renovation (stair refinishing and concrete leveling).

I would not, will not hire anybody else to work on my pool.

Update April 1st 2015: We have also hired Larry to install a safety cover! Yard looks great this spring, no rotten leaves, no slimy water bags and no disgusting tarp!
