We used Pool Bouy to come and check out our pool 2 weeks after we moved into our new home, Larry was extremely easy to work with, confident in his work and fast and efficent in following up with our calls and e-mails. The conversion to salt water has been effortless and the price was very competitive! Pool Buoy is the perfect pool boy for us! We had used Pool Buoy a couple of years ago for some leak repairs, and Larry did a great job finding the leaks and fixing them. This year we were once again losing water so I immediately called Larry to come and have a look. First he checked the piping and then checked the liner, where he found some new holes. He said he would fix them but a new liner might be a better idea, as he had previously fixed quite a few holes, and because we had a lot of water behind the liner. We decided to change the liner, but needed it done quickly because of a prebooked party. Larry promised to have it done...and it was!! From start to finish in less than 2 weeks. He always came when he said he would, and keeps checking with us to make sure all's OK. I would definitely recommend Pool Buoy to my friends & family. GREAT JOB!

We had our Pool Liner Replaced by Pool Buoy, and we extremely satisfied with the work that was doned. All work was completed with in the timelines that were initially discussed and the end product looks great. We had several quotes for the liner replacement, we cdecided to go with pool buoy as they took the time to come and see the project and discuss all the options with us..

Our pool liner was 22 years old so we were in need of a new liner and decided to get a safety cover and new solar blanket, roller and automatic pool cleaner at the same time. We had 4 quotes from other companies and were most impressed with Larry from the Pool Buoy. When he came to our home he was professional, thorough and willing to spend some time discussing our options.
Within a couple of weeks the pool liner was being installed, the safety cover was installed and the rest of our equipment was delivered.
We were treated with courtesy and respect and the work was completed beautifully. I would highly recommend Larry and his company for any of your pool needs.

Upon Realizing that our swimming pool was losing water I decided to search for a company to provide Leak Detection Services. After making a few phone calls I settled upon Pool Buoy Pool Service. Larry came by and ran a wide variety of tests to determine the source of the leak. The problem was detected, and I was impressed by the accuracy and precision of their diagnostics. Larry returned a couple days later to fix the leak. the service was prompt, reliable, efficient, and affordable. After hearing stories from friends of mine and their trouble in finding reliable pool service in the GTA I feel I made great judgement in hiring Pool Buoy Pool Service. I would highly Recommend this company to anyone else out there in need of Leak Detection or any other Pool Service.

Hired Larry to replace the liner on our pool. He was very responsive at first. Though he would do a great job. We insured that the contract included opening the pool. Once the job was completed, the pool was leaking. Larry claimed that he was a Leak Specialist. He came out twice to try to deal with the leak problem. When the leak continued he suddenly dropped off the face of the earth and would not return phone calls or emails. Over a week later, when he finally responded after I left many messages and emails, he claimed that he had done all that he could and that we should seek the services of a "Leak Specialist". He concluded that he could not do anything further and would not take responsibility for the work he had done. He was not even willing to come back if we paid him more.
Larry is young and immature and unable to run a business. We are now faced with bringing in another pool company to clean up his mess. What looked like a promising relationship has ended up being very disappointing.
I would NOT RECOMMEND POOL BUOY SERVICE.

After purchasing a home from some very deceitful owners, we discovered it lost most of the water over the winter to the tune of about 2 inches per day. I read up on the latest leak detection for pools and found Larry here on Homestars. It was comparable to a lot of divers costs, but working in IT I had to try him out thinking this was going to be more precise. I was right. He came out the first time and found 7 leaks in the liner alone and checked the lines etc. We brought the pool to temperature and he came back a few days later and patched 10 spots. He showed me on his equipment it was not longer detecting water loss and its been that way for two days. When we need to replace the liner we'll have him back in. He was helpful in answering other pool related questions beyond the scope of his work too, something you don't see from other vendors these days!!Leaky pool? Call him in!

Pool Buoy did an awesome job with my pool and bringing it up to the standard it should be. What I liked is how they had different price options for my budget needs and they were able to have a product with what I was able to spend. Their workmanship is top notch with great service!

I wanted to move away from backwashing my pool every week.

Contacted Larry and he suggested I try a cartridge pool filter. He installed it and it is great! Much less maintenance than before with the old sand filter that required backwashing.
