Jason broke his contract with us for a basement finishing job by not showing up for work and has yet to return the deposit. He has disappeared and is not working with us to resolve the issue.

Jason was very responsible and organized. He was an absolute pleasure to work with. He arrived on time every day and completed the project on budget and in the time allotted. He gave great advice in terms of design and listened carefully to all of our questions and concerns. Jason even came back three months after the renovation when we had some very minor grout issues in the tile. He re did the grout in the kitchen without charging us and was happy to help us make sure everything was the way we wanted it.

Woked solely, and completed the job as we had agreed upon at the start of project. Very meticulos and paid close attention to the details to make sure our bathroom is exactly what we had hoped for and more! Excellent value for the work performed.

After reading that our surface had to be extremely flat for our 13inx24in tile, we were concerned that we had not adequately leveled the area ahead of Jason's visit and the finished product wouldn't meet our satisfaction. This was not the case. Jason did an amazing job of working with the slight imperfections we had left in the 275 sq ft area and the porch ended up looking even better than we imagined! And to top it off he produced a top quality result while working in cold and rainy weather conditions. This was the second time we hired Jason and we look forward to using his services again.

We are very happy with the work Jason did for us. He was able to meet all of our needs; handling the steam proofing of our shower using Kerdi board, installing our in-floor heating, a carpet-effect marble tile mosaic, everything was done precisely. He is one of the rare contractors we had who actually spotted issues before they arose and asked me about my preferences throughout the whole project. He is also one of the very few who I felt comfortable giving keys to and allowing him to work when I was not home. I would highly recommend him, especially if you want the job done 100% properly.

We purchased an older house in midtown Toronto and had a number of renovations to perform, including a considerable amount of tiling. We interviewed a number of contractors, and Jason was the last one. We knew right away that we had found the right group for the job.

2) Jason delivers solid, meticulous workmanship. Jason and his assistant did a great tiling job, and did not cut any corners. Extra time was spent ensuring the job was done properly and all of our requests and afterthoughts were handled efficiently. If you are looking for someone to be in and out in a flash, Jason is not your guy. He'll spend whatever time is required to ensure the end result is satisfactory.

3) Willingness to go the extra mile. Since we were doing a number of other renovations at the same time, there were several projects on the go each with their own issues to be handled and decisions to be made. On several occasions at our request, Jason provided his input and advice and helped rectify problems that had nothing to do with him. He even took care of some plumbing work that needed to be done which we incorrectly assumed would be handled by other contractors.

Jason is not the cheapest tiling contractor in the business, but we learned through the process that you get what you pay for when it comes to renovations. We knew we could have saved a few bucks with someone else, but the added value Jason provided more than covered this.

Jason was very professional and courteous. He did an outstanding job replacing our kitchen and hallway hardwood floors with travertine tile. The process was efficient and professional, with a beautiful end result. I would highly recommend Cigal to anybody.

Jason delivered as he promised. He tiled our front foyer, kitchen backsplash, and our back entranceway/laundry room . He also did some minor plumbing in the laundry room and installed a new laundry sink and cabinet. He and his co-worker were professional and courteous. THey delivered on time and within budget. He handled all the bumps along the way in stride and never tried to make excuses for anything but rather had solutions. Cleaned up so you never knew they were here. Would definitely use Jason again.

I cannot say enough in words how impressed and satisfied I was with Jason's work. We asked Jason to redo our small but intricate foyer tile and redo a backsplash. First off, Jason is one of the most personable people we have ever met. He truely brings an American customer service level to Toronto. We should feel extremely lucky to have him in our city! He strives for perfection in everything he does. After laying the very intricate pattern of tile we found we had some minor discolourations in the tiles; Jason was not satisfied with it and would not leave us with something "not perfect", and immediately offered to replace the tiling without cost, until it was perfect. We accepted the offer, and now the foyer looks like a masterpiece - I hope to be able to load some pictures on the site soon to prove how exacting his work is. We constantly get praise from our friends on it. (He even did a small job for free in a second bathroom to "make up" for the inconvience to us!) In addition, Jason showed up exactly on time each day (8 am) based on our convenience, worked the entire day with breaks, and was the best communicator I have known... giving me daily updates on the status of the job and in person. He was honest about any technical challenges he faced with our difficult foyer, and really earned our trust and friendship. I would recommend him to friends in a second.
