Bart and his team are exceptional architects. Deliberative, patient, knowledgeable and creative are just a handful of adjectives I would use to describe them. We had a half third floor that we wanted to turn into more usable living space. Bart came up with three very different options for what we could do that were all true to our wishes. He shepherded us through the City of Toronto process in record time. And he was always accessible, and worked extremely well with our builder and decorator. I would give Bart and his team my highest recommendation.

We chose Bart and team to help us modernize and build in accessibility to a replacement ski chalet for a charity that trains and programs for youth with challenges including physical disabilities. We found Bart as we wanted to have a team with a Rick Hansen design qualification. He also showed us that we would partner with us from start to finish. We have an incredible design now. It reflects the aspirations and wants of our members including the athletes, their families and our volunteers. Bart has had to make endless iterations to facilitate a complex stakeholder environment. He's done this with excellence, patience and constant support. We've been thinking about a 2nd bathroom since we bought our 2 bed 1 bath years ago, and now here we are. Bart was extremely professional and knowledgeable. Drawings are absolutely accurate and easy to read. He also came up with very helpful ideas on how to deal with a slightly complicated stairwell/hallway issue and was really patient with the plethora of questions. He doesn't know it yet, but there will be more projects in the future.

Bart was essential to the success of our home renovation project. We hired Bart as our architect to help us with converting our 3-apartment semi-detached building located in Toronto into a home for our family on the above-ground floors, while retaining the existing basement apartment. Bart worked closely with us on the preliminary design of the space, going through several design iterations until we arrived at a plan for the space that we were happy with. Bart handled the permitting process with the City and made sure everything went smoothly. During the construction phase, Bart visited the site on several occasions to see that work was proceeding according to plan and to advise on critical design decisions along the way. Overall we are very pleased with the final result and our experience working with Bart through all stages of the project.
