Quality,timeliness and trustworthiness were not negotiable for me. Mark absolutely delivered. He was flexible and a gentleman. Whenever I added more work he just worked harder to get it all done on time. I hired him because he did an amazing complete reno of my girlfriend's house. He's an old school renovator - I believe in getting everything in writing, but frankly, with him a handshake would have done the trick. I'd recommend him unreservedly!!!!

We bought our house knowing the basement needed to be renovated. The interior designer who drew the plans recommended Optimus Renovations to us. After a free consultation with Mark we got started. Some of the designed finishes were complex and Mark did an excellent job on them. Our new open basement concept required new steel beams to be put in (Mark's architect explained the need for stronger support beams once we went with an open concept), leveling the floors, new ceramic tiling, complete electrical work, drywall and some build-in cabinetry. The job was done right and on time as promised. We were informed of every step, and that was a great experience for us.

Now I love my bathroom. Mark managed the renovation of my bathroom very efficiently and smoothly. I had a mold problem under the old tiles which was ignored for many years. He fixed the problem and put new beautiful porcelain tiles. It took less time than I expected. He also changed the toilet and put in new cabinetry. He was very friendly, helpful and professional. I would recommend Mark to my friends for any renovation job.

To have space for our home office we decided to turn the garage into a living space. After asking our friends for a good contractor, we decided to call Mark at Optimus Renovations for a meeting. He came up with great ideas how to maintain our house’s character/style while achieving our goal. During renovation Mark and his guys were always available to answer our questions and explained every step to us showing their devotion to quality. Their attention to detail and craftsmanship is absolutely amazing! The renovation crew was always on time and was easy to communicate with. Entire project went smoothly and we love the new layout.

Our bathroom renovation was outstanding. Optimus Renovations’ owner, Mark, was excellent with communicating to us all details of the project. He and his team were very professional and thorough. They were very presentable and cleaned up after their work. The work they said was the work they did. We are very satisfied with their work. They were amazing. They were NOT aggressive or pushy.

We shopped around and found they were the best and we would recommend this company to everyone. What they stated as the cost was accurate.

Our renovation experience was excellent. Optimus' owner was very good at communications and details right from the begining of the project. Starting with his detailed presention/response to the tender right until the end of the project. Mark and his team were very responsible and thoughtful through out the approximate four months that it took to complete the job. They showed up when they were supposed to, they respected the agreed work hours so as not to cause too much disturbance with our surrending neighbhours, the team members all had very pleasant personalities and worked with passion. They understood that this was our home and they took pride in thier work. Daily the area was cleaned up to ensure the safety of our family. Each evening the team did a thorough job tarping the entire house/roof securely in case it rained over night. It was especially important to keep things safe and dry since we were living in the house during the 2nd floor re-construction. Of course then each morning the tarp had to be carefully removed. If there was any rain or rough wind, even if it was a weekend or holiday, the owner took the time to check the tarp to make sure all was okay. We picked Optimus Renovations for this project because they took so much care in all aspects of the job. This was very obvious from our first meeting. He was not the most expensive, he was not the cheapest but he was the best!
