Guildwood Roofing

We contacted Simon in January, 2022 to get him to quote on a new Black Ashphalt roof for our house along with Black Metal roofing for the front part of our house as well as all new Eavestoughing around the entire house.

Later in the spring we then decided to upgrade our 2nd floor windows around the entire house and asked for Simon to delay doing our roof which was no problem for Simon and his team.

Prior to Simon starting the work we realized we could use eavestoughing around our Pool Shed which is near the back of our property and we asked Simon if he could repurpose some of the current existing eavestoughing around our house and move it to our Pool shed. He was able to do this for a very reasonable additional charge.

Simon and his team began the work on our house in late August (after our windows were upgraded in July) and then as the work had been partially completed we decided to also have Simon replace our aluminum Soffits at the same time (so the colour would match the new eavestoughs). Simon was very accomodating and provided us with what we considered to be a fair price for this last minute change.

Guildwood Roofing also installed new Rooftop Vents as well as a new Skylight on the upper part of our roof.

We were very happy with the work Simon and his team did and would highly recommend Guildwood Roofing.

(As an aside, this is the 2nd time we have worked with Simon and he is very professional in all his dealings with us).

In 2022, I needed to replace the roof of my three-storey townhouse. I was looking for roofers and received multiple quotes from different companies. I learned about Guildwood Roofing through my father. Guildwood Roofing replaced his roof years ago, and he was pleased with their quality and service. I decided to get a quote from Guildwood, and to my surprise, Simon (from Guildwood Roofing) was extremely passionate and knowledgeable. He quoted us for our roof. It wasn't the highest or lowest quote, but he was able to explain the costing and how the process would work. That process instilled confidence in me, and it's why we chose to go with Guildwood Roofing. Simon and his team replaced the roof. They were on-time, cleaned up after themselves, and the roof looks fantastic (at least from the ground). Following that work, I decided to install a leaf guard at another property. Simon and his team fit us in, and they were able to complete the work within two to three hours. Again, his team was knowledgeable, on-time, and professional. Later in the summer of 2022, one of our roofs (an older one) sustained wind damage, and one of the slopes needed replacing. After speaking with insurance, they said that their contractor would charge $10,000, fully covered by insurance. I decided to use Guildwood Roofing, because I trusted them. They quoted $3,000 for the repair which was covered by insurance. I would recommend Guildwood Roofing to anyone looking for a professional and trustworthy roofer.

A few weekend ago, Simon provided us a quote for my roof replacement. After comparing it with our other quotations, we decided to go with Simon based on his competitive pricing and professional advice. Recently, the work was done. Simon and his crew were very professional, fully prepared, on time and efficient. We are glad that we made the right decision by choosing Simon to do our roof. Simon and his crew were super professional. Showed up on time and replaced all the old leaky roof and replaced most of the plywood that was rotten. excellent job even connected bathrooms fans that were disconnected with proper venting. I would recommend Guildwood Roofing to everyone!

Further, Simon helped us tremendously by repairing our roof from tree damage quickly following a horrible storm that passed over Ontario. He was quick to respond despite being extremely busy, was reliable every step of the way, responsive and now

It was a pleasure dealing with Simon from the start. He was very patient explaining the alternatives with pros/cons. I try to be meticulous with the contractors that I pick to have the same work ethics as I do. He and the crew showed up on time, did an amazing job re-shingling our roof and cleaned up very nicely afterwards - so seamless.
