Warning to anyone thinking of using this company, the owner has a horrible reputation and the work they do is not worth the money you will spend. They left my place in horrible condition after the job was done and concrete is already cracking.

AC Concrete Demolished our driveway and left the slabs which represented a hazard for two weeks in front of our house. Our sidewalk also got damaged.

After a few unreturned phone calls, we wrote an email notifying that we no longer want to continue working with AC Concrete as the project was urgent and that we need to move on. The owner showed up at our house and told us that he already ordered concrete for us that will arrive in a couple of days. After we told him we no longer would like to continue working with him after he left a hazard on our driveway for such a long time, damaged the sidewalk for which he told us it was not him and no communication, he said that never in his 26 years of experience his project was stopped in the middle.

He refused to remove the concrete that was sitting in the front of our garage and said he will not leave until we pay him $2500 for demolishing the concrete. He got aggressive and said he is "fed up" with us and he "won't touch" the pile of concrete he left behind himself. He said it costs $5 per one square foot to demolish the concrete for 500 square foot that he worked on and we trusted that we needed to pay at least for this job and hire someone else to pour the concrete. However, the 3 big slabs were left untouched and he said until he sees the money he is not touching anything.

We paid him $2500 by e-transfer. After he left, we inquired with another contractor and he said to finish demolishing the concrete and removing it from site will cost us another $1800 because as it turned out concrete slabs were still attached to the house and two to the ground and had to be removed, that the pieces had to be broken into much smaller ones in order to be able to lift them and haul them away. We paid another $1800.

Do not use this company! They are way overpriced for the job they did. When I tried to follow up with Adrien afterwards regarding concerns of cracking concrete he did not return my calls.

Adrian was on budget for this project. When the weather wasn’t going to cooperate he went above and beyond, setting up the rental of heaters and setting them all up. Any extra work that arose or was needed he took care of with no problem! Floor shines! He was a hard worker, staying all night to make sure things went as planned. I wasn’t prepared with the electrical on my end so he brought his own lights and set them all up around the shop. Will definitely use for future projects.

We had our driveway replaced in April 2015. It has cracked in a couple of places as well as the concrete has discolored. We have contacted Adrien on many occasions with the promise that he would come and have a look. After many calls and no response we have given up. He was very attentive when trying to get the business but the follow up has been non existent.

When the project was completed and we needed some touch up work completed the owner couldn't be bothered to come back and did not return calls and didn't care to return. That's unfortunate because everyone who sees the job knows who did it and word travels quickly.

If I knew it was going to be such a negative experience working with this company I would have passed on getting this project done.

In the summer of 2013 we contacted AC Concrete to replace our sidewalks and build a patio. The perimeter of the sidewalks and patio was done in exposed aggregate. The remainder of the area was stamped and colored. This was a fairly large project that took a few days to complete. We are very pleased with how it turned out. The quality of work was excellent, the cement still looks good after three years and there are no cracks. The only issue we had with the project is the color is coming off in some areas. It is our understanding that this is do to problem with the stain. Adrian (the owner) has come back a couple of times to make repairs. Adrian is honest and very hard working. AC concrete provides quality work at a fair price and I would highly recommend them.
