Brian and his team were great to work with. They were friendly, responsive, and professional. I especially liked that Brian had good solutions to bring to the project and suggested ideas that saved me money.

Fast, reliable, and did and excellent job. Our family is growing and we wanted to finish our basement to give us some extra room. Brian and Ryan led us through the whole process, from getting started to closing our permit. They have us a quote and a timeline and the project came in exactly on time and on budget. What more could you ask?

Brian did an incredible job renovating our basement this winter. Our house is over 100 years old, and he was successfully managing all the interesting things he uncovered from day one.

Brian’s technical skill in renovating old homes is exceptional. He brought vast knowledge to every step along the way, from the demo to the drain work, slab, plumbing, framing, electrical and the list goes on. His work is clean, which really comes through in the final product.

I also want to talk about Brian’s approach. I can’t overstate how important his positive attitude was to this job – a basement reno, in the middle of winter, while an entire family was home practically every day. Time flew by and it was a pleasure to watch things advance every day. Also, I didn’t have much time to prepare for the renovation, so I was making decisions on the fly. Brian was always problem solving with a smile and creativity. Even with my lack of planning, he was able to get the job done in the time promised.

Shout out to Ryan who came up with some ingenious solutions to a couple of my requests.

We couldn’t be happier with the basement reno. It’s exactly what we wanted. We’re going to use him for a couple of future renovations.

We live in a 120 year old row home in west Toronto. Our basement was not finished at all. We used it only for storage and laundry. Bryan and his team created a brand new space for us. We use our basement every day now and it is really the nicest room in the house. We will use Swift Services for any future renovations. They understand old Toronto homes and go above and beyond in the value they provide. They are super reliable and easy to work with.

Brian and crew installed a new concrete walkway/sidewalk in our yard. The edges and the finish are perfect, and they sloped it into the existing drain. They did it on time and on budget. Thanks!

We first worked with Brian when we bought our house ~9 years ago and hired him to build closets for us. When we wanted to do our kitchen and basement, we reached out to him again, and we couldn't be happier with how the project went.

Brian always thought of ways to make the experience better for us (like installing a counter & sink that had been in our basement originally in our dining room as a temporary kitchen so we wouldnt' have to wash dishes in the bathtub). He is super careful with money and always consulted with me before doing anything that might add an additional cost to the project. He connected us to great designers, and worked closely with them throughout the whole project to make sure that our design was just right. He has a great team, and the people he hires to do additional tasks like laying tile, etc. were excellent.

I know that projects like this are usually big headaches for homeowners, but Brian really took care of everything to make sure it was as smooth as possible. And, they were there every single day, even on a stat holiday, keeping things moving at the right pace. He even had people in doing drywall, etc. on weekends to make sure that the project kept moving.

What I was most impressed by, though, was his character. He was honest and reliable, but he was also great with our kids and pets, and some very challenging neighbours too. He's just a decent person, and the people he hires are like that, too.

My concern was stuff being left behind like nails or other sharp objects because I have young kids. But the guys that came were very professional and did a great job taking down the extension and cleaning up after them selves. I would use them again for sure.

Brian's team was great to work with. We were stuck in a jam when our existing contractor backed out and we were under a tight deadline. His team was able to show up and get the job done.
The guys showed up on time every day and cleaned up after themselves leaving our place livable even though it was being demolished.

Brian is great to work with on the basement demolition. They arrived when they said they would, finished in the time expected and I think they were great value. I'd use Swift again and would gladly recommend them to anyone that needs a quality job (in fact if you're thinking of a basement reno, have it removed before quotes come in so contractors can see what's underneath and there are less surprises).
