Big Time Renos No Longer In Business

We recently had our kitchen re-done (floor and wall tile with an island installed) buy Kostas and his crew and we are %200 content with our decision. Our kitchen is FINALLY the way we wanted it after having to deal with contractor after contractor in this city not being able to live up to our expectations.

I highly recommend Kostas and his crew to ANYONE looking for a small or big renovation. The work is clean, quick and of the best quality this city has to offer.

we wanted to make our basement feel comfortable just as the rest of our house , and luckily for us we discovered Kostas via a sign on a lawn . Exceptional team work was displayed on the BTR crew , just absolute commitment to the task at hand and extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of the building process . I must have asked Kostas and his dedicated crew a thousand questions and in return I received a thousand answers to which I could actually understand because i do not know anything about construction . Thankfully Kostas happens to be one of those honest builders out there . we also admired his key point recommendations in regards to what we can do to save more energy in return meant more money in our pockets . In the construction process he knows exactly what is structurally sound to code as well as identifying the best quality of all materials in which to build with. When all is said and done, we love our basement with a brand new kitchen including island , Master bedroom , amazing bathroom with beautiful tile !! and hardwood throughout . definitely full recommendations on our end . Kostas goes above and beyond. He is highly skilled, intelligent and reliable. He is also honest and his prices are fair. He has done numerous jobs around the house and has ALWAYS met his deadlines. I know if I ever need anything more, Kostas is definitely the guy to call. From tilling my basement and putting hardwood flooring in the entire house to tearing down an old deck in the back yard and making a stunning interlocking stone pattern that really opened and changed my backyard. He also renovated both of my bathrooms on the second floor which included the tiling both on the floor and shower. I absolutely love the work Kostas and his team has done for my husband and I and highly recommend him as a contractor.

We absolutely loved our custom renovation by Big Time Renos. We did all our homework and worked with architects, interior designers, and the contractors at Big Time Renos. They had excellent referrals which we did go see and were impressed by. Kostas and his team made our vision come to life in the expected time line. He gave us great advice and was able to save us money by forecasting problems with our plans. Our reno is over 6 months old now and still very impressed. We have used Big Time Renos occasionaly after the renovations for very small tasks and they always make time for us (installing washer/dryer, custom storage closet). Very impressed and looking forward to having them back in the future.

What can I say, we finally have our dream home and its all thanks to Kostas and his crew of professional tradesmen, the work was done on time and the quality of work is beyond reproach. I wouldn't hesitate to call on Big Time Renos to do any job, excellent staff, great attitude, and quality work.

With a growing family more space was needed.....bad. My wife and I wanted a space the kids could terrorise, make a mess, have fun and spend time together. Initially we were sceptical about the basement being that place. Because they always seem dark, cold and uninviting. However after "Big time renos'" design and construction we find that we really don't spend time elsewhere. The crew was curtious and friendly. Even after I kept asking to change this move that and add another light here. I'm probably the customer from hell but hey it's my money!!! Thanks guys.

I was very happy with the work that Kostis and his crew did for me and my family. It was a very old house and needed alot of work. The end result made me and my family very happy and a beautiful home to move in to. Kostis kept me up to date on the project as progress was made. The work was done in a timely matter(even thought there was extra work to be dome) I will definitely recommend BIG TIME RENOS!!!!

Big Time Renos are MAJOR scam artists. The main contractor Kostas stated he had several references, we NEVER saw them, and he does NOT keep his deadlines. The work done was extremely poor, and some aspects needed to be re-done. He gave us a guarentee date, and even wrote he would pay a $250/per day penalty is work was not completed on time, it was not, nor did he honor his guarentee. Doors and locks were put on backwards, and needed to be re-done. He was very unprofessional and we encountered incidents of his girlfriend showing up up our residence swearing and yelling and threatening to attend the place where the work was being completed to tear up the work that was done. The company was paid in full, and denied it. I would strongly suggest NOT using this company for anything, not even to have a plan planted. The renos ran way over budget, and the workmanship was digusting. Worst mistake of our lives. The entire company, which really only consists of 2 people are un-trustworthy, and do not know how to treat customers with respect. They yelled and screamed when they were confronted on time lines and the repairs. Is this how you treat customers????
