Painters Plus

Painters Plus gave me a very reasonable estimate to paint my house. However the estimate was changed as work progressed, still estimate was low. The workers were pleasant. Problems arose when the owner Karin chose to use wood fill on many boards that I suggested should be replaced. I was willing to pay for the cost. After 3 months the paint bubbled and chipped on these boards and one piece at the front door literally fell off. The owner's answer was 'Paint chips". I continued to call her and she replied "I don't have a painter".

Now I am paying a second company to redo the job!.

They are pleasant on the phone and most accommodating. Communication is prompt and you are kept informed of what is happening.

Painters Plus did an excellent job sanding, priming and painting 2 coats on the exterior front and sides of the house. They arrived exactly when promised, thanks to the efficient organization of the company estimator Karissa. A great job.

They did a good job with the repairs and painting of the office.

It was a big job but was completed rather quickly and with very limited disruption to our office. Any issues were taken care of quickly and they made sure we were fully satisfied with their work. They did a quality job especially repairing the Window Sills that were in terrible condition.

They painted both the kitchen and a bathroom in only one day but did probably the best paint job I've seen. The cost was very reasonable given the materials, quality and man-hours.

Great work and commitment from Painters Plus. Definitely a subcontractor that we'll keep for our future projects. Karin and her team were very diligent and delivered the project on time. I would highly recommend Painters Plus.

We are super happy with the end result. As first timers hiring painters, we did not realize that floorboards and doors were something to ask for explicitly. The painters were very friendly and came back to do some touch ups and add on the floorboards and doors. We wanted one accent wall in navy, but in the first couple hours the painters had gone ahead and painted the whole room navy. Oops! They were super fast to fix the mistake and did a great job overall. Very impressed and happy in the end.

The office is very responsive and efficient, the painters are pleasant and cleaned up well. However, the quote should be accurate and the company willing to stand by it. It is very difficult for the customer to be faced with changes in the quote and work to be done on the day that a job is to start.

Update: I don't think that 'happy' is the correct word for the outcome.
I was trying to be diplomatic and consider that perhaps I just happened to be on the wrong end of a 'bad day'. While I was not happy, I can understand a mistake or omission in the quote and we agreed to split the cost. However, I don't understand why you thought it was okay to change the type of paint without discussion just to avoid having to prime the surfaces. Then, after you have already started painting, you insisted that I pony up another $500 because you cannot reach a 'peak' without renting some equipment. My knowledge of the intricacies of painting is very limited. I depend on experts like you to know what is required to get the job done, and to provide an accurate quote. I prefer not to have surprises AFTER the job has been initiated.

Needed someone to paint the aluminum under the roofline of the house which is 3 stories high. The job was done even sooner than promised. Emails were returned promptly and professionally. In the end, the aluminum required an additional coat which was not an issue.
I highly recommend Painters Plus and will keep them in mind for any future jobs
