After some water damaged we decided to redo the entire main floor with dark hardwood. They gave a fair price, showed up on time and finished ahead of schedule. From the office staff to installers all were great and easy to deal with. I will recommend Canada Hardwood to all my friends and family.

Amazing service. I was looking for a hardwood installer in Durham region, and came upon this company. Dealing with Sheila and Stan was always a pleasure. The job was done right, with very good worksmanship and on time. Floors came out amazing and everything was clean after the install. Would recommend this company to anyone and will use them again in the next house.

I went to Canada Hardwood Flooring after erading other reviews and can say it was the best choice we have made in a long time. We were very satisfied with the service from Stan and his wife and the installer. They were very knowledgable, prompt, fairly priced and the install was done well. After recommendations from a few friends, I decided to use Canada Hardwood Flooring to install flooring in my basement. The floor is amazing! From start to finish the customer service was second to none! The price was more than reasonable and Stan and Sheila were always available to answer any questions I had and to offer invaluable suggestions to make sure the finished product was the best it could be. It is obvious that they really care about the job they do and want their customers happy. The installers (Brodie and Chester) were very polite and friendly. They worked so efficiently and are incredible at what they do. In just one day, my basement was transformed into a beautiful living space in my home. I will be doing my bedrooms soon and without a doubt will be calling Canada Hardwood Flooring again! the pickering company of canadianhardwood flooring was the most cost effective, efficient (3 days for main floor), and professional installment I could ask for. they were recommended to me by 2 friends and they were the least expensive of 3 estimates. the estimate came in to the dollar, and existing flooring was accounted for. At $10 a sq foot including tax, I think it is a fair price.

We knew we were getting into a rather large project and, from the beginning, we were confident with Canada Hardwood Flooring. The whole second floor went through a complete transformation and the flooring looks and feels great. Stan and his team were friendly and easy to work with. Sheila was always available to answer questions and communicate scheduling options. We had a very tight timeline prior to moving in and Canada Hardwood worked very hard to ensure the house was safe and comfortable for our family. Stan and George were able to basically give us a brand new staircase that was up to code and something we will enjoy for a lifetime. The installers did a wonderful job installing the hardwood in our home. They finished in one day and it looks amazing! I would with out a doubt use Canada Hardwood Flooring again in the future and highly recommend them! Sheila was very helpful and great to work with as well!

We had our bedroom floors done in April (see earlier review) and there was no doubt that we would contact Canada Hardwood Flooring for replacing the rest of our floors and stairs. We are so impressed with the work they did! Our house looks like a completely different house. We love our new floors! They worked hard and finished the job quickly. We had a little squeak when they were done and Stan fixed it promptly. What great customer service! We highly recommend this company! Thanks again Stan and Sheila!

Stan and his crew, refinished all the existing hardwood floors , stairs and banisters, to get rid of an old reddish colour. They also layed a new unfinished oak wood flooring into our living room and then matched the colour I picked to go though out the house. It was a big job and it looks great! I had hardwood floors done through the entire house as well as the staircase. I can honestly say that I did a lot of research before going ahead with this job. When the carpet was pulled up we noticed that there was a beam missing under the subfloor when the house was built. As a result someone could have fallen through that section of the floor. They fixed it for me before laying the floor and still finished on time. Everyone that works at Canada Hardwood Flooring is great!!! They really did a fantastic job!!!! From beginning to end they were absolutely wonderful to work with. For sure I will use them again for any future homes.
