A home inspection in preparation for sale of the family home revealed we had used vermiculite insulation in the upper attic, which unfortunately contained asbestos, and that we had some 'old' mold on the roof sheathing. I contracted Templar to remediate both matters. They were recommended to us by prior customers, and Robert seemed very knowledgeable when he visited the house to view the work requirement. I also got another quote for the work which was quite a bit higher. While the team was doing the requested work in the upper attic, they notified me that I had the same issue with 'old' mold in the lower attic, which had not been seen during the home inspection. They provided pictures in support. I needed the work done promptly to provide assurance to the purchaser, and after discussion, Robert managed to fit in the required additional remediation, at a very fair price. The team started work at 6 AM on a Saturday to get this done before they moved on to their 9 AM job. I very much appreciated the effort expended to get this work done. They also provided me before and after pictures so I did not have to crawl around the lower attic myself. The two teams I met were very polite, and very tidy as well.

Contracted company to safely remove mould found in basement walls and asbestos floor tiles. Due to extensive mould found after water damage, the walls required to be completely removed and disposed. Dave managed the project from the Initial estimation to the removal of materials with two crew assisting. The work was handled quickly, thoroughly and safely. I would not hesitate to recommend this company for this type of remediation project.

Very professional. Isolated the area, disassembled and removed the stove, cleaned up, vacuumed and treated areas that may have been exposed. Friendly too! I had started to pull this thing apart (old half coal, half gas stove) when I opened an area and noticed what I believed to be asbestos. Robert came down to consult (for free) and ascertained that the asbestos was there. A relief to get rid of this old thing as it was not in good enough shape to investigate its potential as an antique.

We are renovating our main floor and needed 3 vertical risers and 2 small sections of asbestos wrapped ductwork removed. Robert was able to do the job fast so that the larger project wasn’t delayed. Our contractor was very pleased with his work. He also provided the all clear with an air test after the project which was really helpful.

A small area of about 10 sq. ft. of asbestos floor tile needed to be removed from the basement floor. The job needed to be done quickly since a new washer and dryer set were coming in a few days, and new laundry-room floor tile had to be installed before they came.

Robert was very accommodating in sending someone over the next day to assess the job. A couple of days later, the asbestos tile was removed and I was able to lay new floor tile in the area where the new washer and dryer were going.

David and Kevin were on time when they came to do the work. Both were very pleasant and professional in their demeanour. I was more than satisfied with job done by Templar.

Robert was able to get a very quick test to see if we had asbestos in our popcorn ceiling. He was prompt and courteous and had our results in a couple days. the whole process from initial phone call to our test results was less than a week. Very great service.

Very happy with the service provided to remove floor tiles containing asbestos from my basement. Fair price, very quick to respond and attend. Robert was the only company that responded to my request for asbestos tile removal. He called me right away, arrived promptly for our appointment, gave me no-nonsense, straight-up advice on what needed to be done, and the job was scheduled and completed in a very short period of time. Dave, the lead technician and his crew finished the task within a couple of hours! Industrial fans dried my basement and filtered out any minute particulate matter to enable a safe work environment for the renovators. The basement was immaculate and clean. Robert and his team at Templar did a great service to me and my family. They came and inspected the job the next day and a promptly schedule a service that same week to handle my mould issue. Job was clean and each person I interacted with was very professional. Very happy with the service and with a baby due this month our family is happy as well.
