We connected with My House at the BC Home and Garden show and were immediately impressed by their extensive gallery of beautiful projects. The initial meetings were extremely informative and they were very transparent about the process from beginning to end.

At the beginning stage, the budget management process was clearly outlined. My House ensures that all the financials are completely transparent, clear, easy to follow, and very detailed. They were timely in providing regularly scheduled emails for our perusal. There were no concerns or issues at any time regarding budgeting/billing.

We had numerous meetings with Morgan for Interior Design planning. Morgan walked us through every step including attending meetings with us to purchase appliances and plumbing fixtures. She assisted with defining and narrowing our vision for our dream kitchen. Morgan helped us focus and choose between various options so that it was manageable and not so overwhelming.

In the building/renovation stage, the numerous trades were extremely professional. When approached with questions (or for a conversation/update), they were patient and kind. They took their work seriously and displayed considerable pride in creating a beautiful space that we can enjoy for many years to come. The trades worked very well together and were courteous throughout.

Our finished project is absolutely beautiful. We plan on remaining in this home for many years to come. If we ever did move to downsize in the future, we would absolutely use My House Design again.

After 26 years in our home my wife and I decided it was time to do some renovations. Our focus was to upgrade 3 bathrooms, laundry room, family room, fireplaces and a complete redesign of our primary bedroom, bathroom and walk in closet.

The professionalism of My House was well known to us prior to the commencement of our project as we were lucky enough to witness their work on renovations they performed on a house belonging to our close friends. Our friends had hired My House to conduct various renovations, both inside and outside, on three occasions over the past 20 years. The work completed was outstanding and transformed their home. In fact, the original renovations still stand out for their quality.

Regarding our townhouse, we purchased it two years ago with knowledge that we wanted to redo the kitchen and open it up to the main living area to provide more light and to have an open concept. The project manager led us thru the various planning stages and thru the cumbersome but necessary process of obtaining a building permit thru the City. All was explained in advance and was completed within time and within budget. There were no surprises.

Our construction manager was fantastic and was quick to see an opportunity to install a beam that would open up our living area more than we thought possible. The construction manager and his team were experienced, knowledgeable and professional throughout the project. He supervised the various trades that performed work and ensured any concerns were addressed quickly.

We have been living in our house now for just over 10 years ,and decided that now is the time to renovate.

In 2016, we purchased a 1981 house that needed a full renovation. After much consideration we choose My House Design Build. The team educated us on the process from start to finish, and made suggestions for things we never would have thought to do. Hiring My House was the absolute best decision we could have made.
