The Duct Cleaning Specialists

Paul showed up when he said he would and cleaned our ducts. He then went above and beyond to try and help us figure out a problem we've been having in one of our bedrooms where the ducts didn't seem to be working. He offered suggestions and came back the next day, at no charge, to try and implement a solution for us. He was honest and nice. A pleasure to deal with and I would highly recommend him.

I contacted Paul to clean the ducts, furnace, dryer and fireplace in a home I recently purchased - he arrived right on time and was thorough, polite and professional. What more could you ask for?

It was pretty clear from the dust buildup that the ducts had not been cleaned in a long time if ever! He did an excellent job and went the extra mile, installing a new access panel to the furnace to ensure the work was done properly. He also pointed out that that the dryer vent was not fully accessible - he did the best job he could with limited access and adjusted his price accordingly. I thought the price was very reasonable for so much work! I will definitely call on him in future and would recommend his services to anyone. Thank you!

This transpired almost a week ago, but given what this house has gone through the past two weeks I think I can be excused for making this review so late. We had made arrangements with Paul to clean our ducts in preparation for a new HVAC installation. We'd been living here since 2002 and had yet to clean the ducts, however there was evidence that they had been cleaned in the past (how well we would find out...) We chose Paul from the reviews on homestars (as we didn't have any references) and price wise Paul seemed to be in the middle of the pack. What stood out for us was the honesty factor noted in the previous reviews. We had scheduled for Nov 17th, but a job just outside of town took longer than he expected and he called several times to keep me posted on his timeline. Finally, when he was ready to come down, it was getting late and it was Paul who offered to reschedule for the upcoming Sunday and as a courtesy he offered a nominal discount. So Sunday came and Paul was there slightly ahead of our arranged time. He came in and explained to us that the first thing he wanted to do was to confirm whether cleaning was even needed. He accessed the return shaft via the humidifier and noted that there was very little dust. Based on this he thought we might be able to avoid a cleaning. My impression of Paul was positive from the start but any doubt was gone at that moment. His first priority was to confirm any work was needed or not. Others I'm sure would have stated cleaning was required (even if not required) just to make an extra buck. Paul clearly indicated that he did not want his business based on such practises. However, he then accessed the main return air duct of the house to confirm his assumption and we were amazed at what we saw... a carpet of dust over an inch thick. So he began by preparing the rooms and vents as needed. The whole job took over three hours to complete. During that time all the ducts were agitated and all dirt and dust was sucked right out. He was even willing to create access to some of the ducts that had several turns and were not accessible completely from the vents themselves. We were very pleased with the work Paul did for us and I would not hesitate in the slightest in referring him to others. He was courteous, professional and above all he was happy to answer any questions we had (regardless of how odd they may have seemed). Thank you Paul for all your efforts and we hope you and your business continue to prosper and look forward to using your services again in the future.

We live in a brand new home from a builder that has never been duct cleaned. With so many different ads and companies around, we weren't sure who to turn to. Our builder suggested that we call one of Canada's largest department stores, they came for a quote that was over $700, we couldn't believe it.
So we turned to the internet to find the right company for the job. Once we came across HomeStars website we read the great reviews Duct Cleaning Specialists had and were at first a bit hesitant, they seemed too good to be true, but nonetheless I called up Paul and scheduled an appointment with him right away.
Now, I can say for sure, that Paul definitely lives up to all the wonderful reviews. He was extremely professional, courteous and knew exactly what he was doing! We'll be recommending Paul to our friends for sure! Thank you and it was nice meeting you!

He came out of his normal coverage area for a nominal fee, and he still arrived on-time! We found the gentleman was courteous, and very professional. He explained what he was doing at each point, and completed when he said he would. My wife's impression was he cared a lot about his work, and was meticuluous. We have already recommended him to our neighbours, family, and friends.

There was a miscommunication on the day for duct cleaning. As a result an alternative day was agreed and Paul gave a 10% discount for the error. The job was performed very efficiently. and paul is very knowledgable, courteous and efficient. I would highly recommend him to my friends.

I haven’t met Paul Hannah in person, but we spoke on the phone, emailed floor plans and together tried something new. I appreciate that Paul H. was game to try cleaning my dryer duct with outside access only. The tenants have since reported that the dryer is drying better than before. This saved me the need to perform carpentry to open up the enclosed stackable washer / dryer. This ended up being much easier for my new tenants and I. As with many others, I'm happy to spread the word about some great friendly service that my family and I recently received from Paul. Everything was as advertised and then some and he was very efficient and was very thorough. As well, I was most pleased with the respect that he had for my home and family. Paul at Canaduct came on a rush job to deal with the smell of a dead animal in my ducts. It was unbelievable how much stuff he was able to blow out of my ducts - even though I've had them done many times before. Clearly the other suppliers were not doing a thorough job.

He left my house clean and went above and beyond to make sure our house was sanitized for my three year old daughter.
