Paul & Steve did a great job cleaning our furnace & vents. They were there on time (Sunday mornings, who works Sunday mornings!! :)

Paul came in and thoroughly explained the work. Initially, he thought he was going to have to remove part of our ceiling to get at the main duct, but thankfully, he figured out a way to attach the vacuum to the exposed ductwork above the furnace.
Paul and his assistant cleaned up and left everything spotless. I would definitely use them again.

Paul was easy to talk to when making my booking. When he and his crew arrived, they made every effort to keep our house clean and were incredibly thorough when cleaning the ducts. The ducts were disgusting and unlike other companies, Paul did not charge me extra for the extra hard work he had to put into the cleaning. When finished, he cleaned and dusted the areas around the vents and left the house as clean as possible. He was respectful of my family and answered any questions that we had. I would definitely recommend this company and hire them again in the future.

Paul at the Duct Cleaning Specialists returned calls promptly, and provide courteous and helpful service. He gave very clear information about the work. The dryer and its ducts leading to the outside were cleaned, and the dryer worked much more effectively afterward.

Paul explained how it works and done properly from before and during the job. They did a very thorough job from setting up, actual work and cleaning up after. I can tell he is very proud of his work and wants to do a quality job. He was professinal, friendly and does a great job. I definitely will refer him to my friends and neighbours.

I would highly recommend Paul and the Duct cleaning specialists. He worked around my schedule and was on time, finishing in a timely manner. Paul is an extremely honest guy. After the cleaning when the furnace was turned back on, there was a vibration. Paul took the time to try and diagnose the problem. After looking at it for a considerable amount of time he advised to call a heating and cooling specialist. He did not charge me for the hour or so looking at the furnace. I did as he suggested and the problem was diagnosed. The heating and cooling company could not say how/when the problem would have originated. I am not sure how this could have been due to the cleaning and neither could Paul. Paul wanted to pay for more than the invoice from the heating and cooling company due to the inconvenience on my end. Because I was not convinced the problem was due to the cleaning I suggested to pay for some of the invoice. Paul would not agree, wanting to pay at least the whole thing, which he did. The problem is fixed and the ducts are clean. I am very happy. Call Paul, you will not regret it.

Paul Hannah is an excellent technician, friendly and professional. He knows his HVAC systems, and even when he encounters something unexpected, he seems excited to solve it. The Duct Cleaning Specialists is a small company, not a franchise, so you get the guy you spoke to on the phone when you schedule a cleaning.
My house is a 1920 era three story storefront, and it always has a surprise or two for contractors. Paul found the furnace humidifier had never been cleaned, and disassembled and cleaned it, telling me how to maintain it properly.
He noted that an earlier duct cleaning company (hired by the previous owner) had not cleaned the return ducts, and he made sure all the duct work was cleaned thoroughly.
He also cleaned my dryer ducts and replaced a poorly functioning vent.
The biggest surprise was his discovery that the top floor air return had been used as a garbage chute by the previous owners. Five feet of paper,cans and other refuse was piled on top of the return vent opening. Paul improvised a extremely long vacuum hose for this problem he had never encountered before, and lifted out the pieces a few at a time.
Despite the job being much more difficult that Paul had quoted on, he stuck with his original price and even sold me some filters at far below Home Depot prices. he left the house completely clean upon finishing the job.
I absolute recommend Paul to anyone who wants to breathe better, and know what's happening with their HVAC systems.

Ahh.. long overdue review for the services from the Duct Cleaning Specialist (? Paul), my apologies for that… and keeping it short but sweet.. would not hesitate to recommend Paul to whoever would need their ducts cleaned. He is as what have been said numerous times, extremely professional, prompt and courteous. He takes the time to explain and/or answer all your inquiries. At the end of the day, call Paul if you want to get the job done right… the first time!

we bought our 1970's resale home just a few months ago and knew we needed the ducts cleaned. Homestars identified this company for our area and rated well and so I called. The price was great and when he came to complete the work I was very pleased with the work completed. In addition we have a non functioning air purifier for which the filter size is an odd shape, Paul offered and followed through on having custum made filters made for us. He delivered them two weeks later.
I believe Paul did a great job and was polite, courteous and professional. It was a pleasure doing business with him.
